A big congratulations to our Rehab Patient of the Month, Miss Mollie! 💙🎉

Mollie has been hard at work utilizing our Underwater Treadmill (UWTM) to rebuild her strength following surgery, and we couldn't be more proud of the progress she has made. Her determination and positive attitude have made every rehab session a joy to be a part of! 💪🌊

Not only is Mollie the sweetest girl, but her family is just as wonderful. They have been so dedicated to her recovery, and it has truly been a pleasure getting to know them throughout her journey. Mollie has been an absolute superstar on both the surgery and rehabilitation sides of our hospital, winning over everyone's hearts along the way. 💛🐾

🌟🐾 SURGERY PATIENT OF THE MONTH: DREKKER! 🐾🌟

Everyone, please give a BIG round of applause for our sweet girl, Drekker! 🥰🎉 She came to us for her Left TPLO procedure, and even though we only got to spend one night with her, it was more than enough time for Drekker to completely steal the hearts of everyone at the clinic! 💕🐶

Drekker was the sweetest, most easy-going girl and made SO many friends during her stay! 🥹🐾 From her gentle personality to her adorable face, she made sure everyone who met her had a little brighter day. 💗✨

We are SO happy to name Drekker our Surgery Patient of the Month! 🏆🎀 She was an absolute joy to care for, and we are incredibly proud of her! 🥰

🧡🐈 HAPPY NATIONAL ORANGE CAT DAY! 🐈🧡

Today we’re celebrating all the orange kitties who bring a little extra orange sunshine into our lives! ☀️🧡 Whether they’re professional nap-takers, expert troublemakers, or convinced they own the whole house… we love them! 😹🐾

At Midwest Veterinary Specialists, we know that our feline friends can be just as active, adventurous, and disease-prone as their canine counterparts! 🐱🦴 From orthopedic injuries to foreign bodies & masses, our goal is to help every patient get back to doing what they love most—whether that’s chasing toys, climbing cat trees, or launching themselves off the furniture at 2 a.m. 😂🛋️

And of course, rehab matters for our orange patients, too! 💪🐾 A little patience, appropriate exercise, and lots of TLC can help support a strong recovery and even promote weight loss. ❤️‍🩹

So today, give your favorite orange kitty an extra treat, some belly scratches (if they allow it 😹), and a little appreciation for being the lovable chaos machines they are! 🧡🐈✨
