Everyone was getting in some good sleep this morning!
Everyone was napping together this morning, I wish I would have moved fast enough to grab a pic. At least I got this one of Lilith still resting!

Does your horse need a place and herd to sleep with every night? If so, we have will an opening for full care boarding after September 5th! Message us for pricing!

🔥 Flashy, Versatile Pinto Mare – Rouge 🔥

If you’re looking for a fun, forward, do-it-all kind of mare with personality, Rouge might be your girl.
After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to offer her as I’m heading in a different direction. This is a tough one to let go, so I’m looking for the right home, not just any home.

📍 Greeneville, TN
🖤 Grade pinto mare
🎂 Approx. 14 years old
📏 ~14.3-15 hands (will confirm this weekend)

✨ The fun part – she does it ALL:
✔️ Brave & stylish jumper
✔️ Trail rides with confidence
✔️ Moves cattle & has roped
✔️ Knows the barrel pattern
✔️ Can slow it down for western pleasure
✔️Drill Team
✔️ Enter her in anything at the show, she will try her best no matter what you ask.
She’s the type that will try anything you ask and has a great work ethic when you communicate clearly with her.

💥 Under saddle:
Rouge is forward, light, and responsive—rides off of just clicking, she is not one you have to kick.
She rides off seat and leg and has some fun buttons:
Neck reins
Moves off leg pressure
Yields shoulders & hindquarters
180s, 360s, collection
Gorgeous extended trot
She’s a really fun ride for someone who enjoys a horse with feel.

👑 In the pasture:
Rouge is a true boss mare—she likes her spot at the top. Once the pecking order is established, she settles in just fine.
Not a fence tester
Does well in a mixed herd
Leads, ties, and handles well around other horses
She prefers turnout and is happiest with space vs. being stalled long-term.

⚖️ The honest side (please read):
Can test a rider at times (like wanting to head back to the field), but rides through it with confident direction
Sensitive mouth → requires soft, light hands
Has lightly reared in the past with harsh hands/bit (no issues with correct riding)
Can be a bit pushy on the ground if allowed
Because of this, she is best suited for an intermediate rider+ or a confident beginner working with a trainer. Not a beginner babysitter type. None of these behaviors are issues with a consistent, knowledgeable handler—they’re simply why she’s not suited for a beginner home.

🩺 Health:
Occasional mild ulcer maintenance with known triggers (happy to discuss)

✨ Overall:
Rouge is a flashy, talented, “do-it-all” mare with a big personality. She will shine with someone who understands feel, rides with light hands, and wants a horse they can truly do things with.

First 3 pics are with her old owners, everything else is with me.

✨ Meet the Owners of Legacy Hollow ✨
We figured it was about time to properly introduce ourselves!
We're Gypsy and Zach, the owners of Legacy Hollow Farm.
If you spend any time around the farm, you'll quickly notice we each have our specialties. Gypsy handles the day-to-day animal care and keeps everyone happy and healthy, while Zach is the man behind the scenes making sure the farm itself stays running. If something needs fixing, building, hauling, or repairing, chances are he's already working on it.

🐴Meet Gypsy
Born and raised in East Tennessee, Gypsy's love for horses started at a young age and never slowed down. That passion was first sparked by her late grandfather, whose support made owning horses possible and helped shape the lifelong journey that followed.
Over the past 10+ years, Gypsy has owned, shown, trained, and cared for horses from a wide variety of breeds and disciplines. (Thanks to an ADHD brain that wanted to try just about everything horse-related!) Every experience brought new lessons, and those lessons are now the foundation of the care and management we provide here at Legacy Hollow. Our goal is to create a boarding facility where horses receive quality care and owners have peace of mind.

🦖Meet Zach
Zach grew up in Alabama and, while he always had pets, farm life wasn't part of his upbringing. That all changed after moving to Tennessee and meeting Gypsy.
What started as simply supporting her passion quickly turned into embracing the farming lifestyle as his own. He jumped in with both feet, eager to learn and never afraid to get his hands dirty. Today, Zach is the hay hauler, fence builder, maintenance guy, and all-around problem solver. If there's a project on the farm, chances are he's already figuring out how to get it done.
While he may not have grown up around horses or farms, you'd never know it now. His willingness to learn, incredible work ethic, and dedication to making Legacy Hollow Farm the best it can be have been a huge part of turning this dream into reality. Simply put, Legacy Hollow Farm wouldn't be what it is today without him.

❤️ How It All Started
We met on July 9th, 2024 and the horses were part of the package from day one.
In fact, our second date was meeting the horses. After all, they had to approve of their future dad before anything got too serious! Thankfully, Zach passed the inspection with flying colors and was officially promoted to "Hay Giver" by the herd.
From that point on, he hauled hay, filled water troughs, put up round pens, installed fencing, and did whatever he could to help keep horses a part of our lives—even while we were living in an apartment and searching for the right place to call home.
When we found this farm, Zach wasn't completely convinced at first... but it's safe to say Legacy Hollow had other plans. Before long, it became home.

🏡 Building Legacy Hollow Farm
Since moving here, we've been working every day to make Legacy Hollow the best it can be. We've built fencing, repaired stalls, installed new stall gates, improved pastures, and continue adding new upgrades whenever we can.
We're incredibly grateful for the opportunity to build something we're proud of, and we're excited to share it with others who love horses as much as we do.
Whether you're looking for a boarding facility or just want to stop by and say hello, we'd love to meet you, show you around the farm, and hopefully welcome you and your horse into the Legacy Hollow family.
Thanks for following along—we can't wait to see what the future holds! ❤️🐴

Always being watched around here . Lilith says she needs a new field mate to play with since the oldies won’t play with her!

If you have a horse that needs a field buddy then consider boarding at Legacy Hollow farm!

Arena on site that will be worked up soon
Round pen being added this week or next
Brought in for feedings, daily fly spray, daily hands on evaluation to make sure everyone is safe and happy.
Time stalled can be customized to your horse’s needs.
Spots in a locked tack room so you don’t have to haul your equipment back and forth.
Grain daily (grain can be provided by owner or us)
We are close to multiple trails and only 10 mins from the interstate.
Fresh clean stalls, full water buckets and full bellies.

We live on site, prior vet tech, and I’ve owned horses for upwards of 15 years so your 4 legged best friends can be safe and happy.

Don’t mind the tied on stall door, Lilith is still learning to be in a stall sometimes and knows how to take gates off the pins 🤦🏻‍♀️
