🐾I'm getting a LOT of interest/messages on my board and train program.. so here's some information on that🐾
To give dogs the best chance of long-term success, my Board & Train program requires a minimum stay of 10 days and up to 15 days (that looks like 5 days with me, home on the weekend/2 days, back with me for 5). This allows enough time for your dog to learn new skills, practice them in a variety of situations, and build reliable habits that can transfer back into your home environment.
Because training is most successful when there is a foundation already in place, I also require that I have worked with both the dog and owner prior to enrollment through either a group class or a private lesson. This gives me the opportunity to evaluate your dog's needs, understand your training goals, and ensure that a Board & Train program is the right fit.
Board & Train is not a substitute for owner involvement—it's a jump-start to the training process. By working together before and after the program, we can create a training plan that is consistent, effective, and tailored to your dog's individual needs.
