🐾 Supporting Local Pet Care! 🐾

We’re excited to support and partner with one of our wonderful local groomers, Heather Songer! ✂️🐶🐱

Heather takes a truly personalized approach to grooming, working one-on-one with each animal to help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Her experience working at our veterinary clinic in the past has given her valuable insight into animal handling and wellness, and she also dedicates her time to wildlife rehabilitation. 🦨🦝❤️

We love seeing passionate animal lovers provide quality care in our community, and we’re happy to support her work!

A quick reminder before your pet’s grooming appointment:
🩺 Make sure your pet is current on their recommended vaccinations
🦟 Keep them up to date on flea and tick prevention
🐾 Staying on top of preventative care helps protect your pet — and the other animals they may come into contact with.

We’re proud to work alongside local businesses and professionals who share our commitment to the health, safety, and well-being of animals. ❤️🐾

Be sure to give her a follow and support local pet care!

🐱💛 September is Happy Cat Month! 💛🐱

September is all about celebrating our feline friends and the many things that make them happy, healthy, and purr-fectly themselves! 🐾

A happy cat is more than just a cat with a full food bowl. Cats thrive when they have:

😻 Plenty of love, attention, and positive interaction
🧶 Opportunities to play, explore, scratch, and climb
🛏️ Comfortable, safe spaces where they can relax and feel secure
🥣 A healthy diet and fresh water
🩺 Regular veterinary care to keep them feeling their best

To celebrate, our staff members are sharing some photos of their happy cats! 📸🐈

Now we want to see yours! ❤️

Weller, Dr. Eric’s new pup, is throwing a full-blown temper tantrum because he has to wear the cone of shame… 😂😂

We know, buddy… it’s not exactly your favorite accessory! But that e-collar serves an important purpose. 🐶❤️

After a procedure, licking, chewing, or scratching at the surgical site can cause irritation, infection, delayed healing, or even cause the incision to open. The e-collar helps protect the area and allows it to heal properly.

So, as much as they may protest, keep that cone on! It may not be their favorite thing, but it’s an important part of keeping them safe and helping them make a smooth recovery. 🐾

And Weller… we’re pretty sure your Oscar-worthy performance isn’t going to get you out of this one! 😂

🐾 Tick season is here—and protecting your pet starts with prevention! 🌿

As we spend more time outdoors with our furry friends, it’s important to remember that ticks are more than just a nuisance—they can carry diseases that affect both dogs and cats.

Help keep your pet safe by:
✔️ Using year-round tick prevention
✔️ Checking for ticks after outdoor adventures
✔️ Keeping up with routine wellness exams

We’d love to hear from you! Where’s your pet’s favorite place to explore this summer? 🌳🐕🐈 Share in the comments below!

If your pet is due for prevention, a wellness visit, or you have questions about tick protection, give us a call. We’re always happy to help keep your pets healthy and enjoying the outdoors. 💚
