It's been 1 year and 8 days since Maverick was saved from euthanasia.

I recently saw someone say they sponsored Maverick and didn't believe no applications came in for him... For the record people were interested in him but here are the reasons they wanted to adopt:

๐Ÿ”ธ "His eyes are so beautiful"

๐Ÿ”ธ " He just looks so sad in his picture"

๐Ÿ”ธ " He is handsome"

I was very picky for Maverick because he had already been failed by humans 3 times. Cathoulas are a tough breed and they take someone willing to do what's right for him not someone wanting to do what feels right for themselves.

I am thankful for his family for adopting and am so proud of how far he has come from the dog that couldn't meet strangers. So thankful Monroe County Friends of Animals - Eastbourne Animal Center for trusting me and my process โค๏ธ

Winslet is available for adoption and will make the perfect running buddy!! Easy to control and ready to run even more than she did today!
