🐾 LOVE THEM. KEEP THEM HEALTHY. 🐾

Yesterday was National Pet Obesity Awareness Day—but helping our pets stay healthy matters every day! ❤️

Round cartoon pets may make us smile, but extra pounds on our real-life companions can affect their health and comfort. Excess weight can contribute to joint problems and other serious health issues.

Help your dog or cat feel their best:

🥣 Measure meals and ask your veterinarian about appropriate portions.
🦴 Remember that treats and table scraps count, too!
🎾 Make time for daily movement—walks, fetch, wand toys, or gentle play suited to your pet’s abilities.
⚖️ Ask your veterinarian about your pet’s ideal weight and monitor changes.

Skip the crash diets! Weight loss should be gradual and guided by your veterinarian. This is especially important for cats, because going without food can cause dangerous liver problems.

Love comes in many forms—a walk, a game, a cuddle—not just another treat. 💕

🐾❤️ TWO NEW FACES AT GREEN FOREST ANIMAL SHELTER! ❤️🐾

These two sweet faces have recently joined us at the Green Forest Animal Shelter, and we'd love your help getting them noticed this weekend!

Due to personal circumstances, their previous owner is no longer able to care for them. While we don't know much about their individual personalities just yet, we do know one important thing — these two are bonded. 🐶❤️🐶

They've already experienced a big change in their lives, and we're hoping their next chapter will be filled with love, stability, and plenty of happy moments.

💕 Could you help us find their next chapter?

We'll spend some time getting to know them better and share additional details next week. In the meantime, we'd love to get their faces out into the community!
