With Marion county being on a LEVEL 3 and not expected to change until daylight tomorrow, we are closing the office. If you had an appointment we will call you once we are back in the office to reschedule. We are so very sorry for this inconvenience. Stay warm!

Beginning today, Wednesday, 12/17/25, both Dog Wardens will be able to sell dog license tags while out on patrol. Availability will be limited, and only one-year tags will be offered.

Purchases made directly through the Dog Wardens must be paid by cash or check only. Please note that they will not carry change; exact cash is required. Change may be donated to the Dog Pound if you choose.

Hey guys!! Just us again with another dog brought to us that was found roaming around on Larue Green Camp rd. No collar or microchip. He is an insanely sweet and very young! Probably around 5-6 months of age. If you might know where he belongs please give us a call at 740-528-3020.

Update! His owner came and picked him up today!!

This super sweet guy ran into our practice today while a client was coming in. He is a neutered male Boston terrier. If anyone knows where he might belong, please reach out to 740-528-3020. Thanks so much!ey

Good morning and happy Tuesday! We came into the office today with no internet which means no phones! We are so sorry for the inconvenience. Spectrum is working to fix the problem and hopefully we'll be back up and running asap! Deacon and Kujo - day 123

Depression has set in for Kujo and he’s losing his spark. Sure, we spend as much time with the boys as possible, but with 50 dogs in the building, they spend a lot of time in their crates so we can give the other dogs attention, too.

Deacon and Kujo are a bonded pair of senior dogs. They were seized from their owner as a humane case and have waited far too long to be adopted and spend their golden years in a comfy home.

So, now the question arises… Should we separate them? Would their odds of finding a home soon increase if they didn’t have to be adopted together? They don’t do well apart, and we still aren’t quite comfortable separating them.

PLEASE help us find them the home they deserve where they can stay together forever. Kujo is eight years old and weighs 70 pounds. Deacon is nine years old and weighs 86 pounds. They’re great with kids but are looking for a home without other animals.
