Feeling extremely grateful to be a groomer today! A lady had called asking for help; there was a dog abandoned by his previous family. They had moved, but left their fuzzy family member behind. This amazing lady who called, flew here to visit family and saw him. They had to take action to help this baby. Even though I was completely booked, I couldn't refuse the service. She said she wanted to get him cleaned up before bringing him to a shelter (she could not keep him, as her flight leaves in a couple days). Callista (Beasley's Doggie Grooms) reached out to an acquaintance that works at a rescue/foster, and they agreed to take him! He is a very shy and nervous guy and we have no idea what hes been through or how he was previously treated. All three of us groomers fell in love with him. He just wants love and kisses. He was pampered free of charge and boy let me tell you, he looks and feels like a new man! I am so excited to follow his journey and to see him find his forever home.
Through the long hours and demanding days, this is why I keep grooming. To make a difference for those who deserve it most, pets. We will always have time and love to give. πΎπππ«πΆπππ―π
