Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that specializes in rescuing at-risk animals who have special needs and/or disabilities. Visit our cage-free sanctuary in Green Bay at 151 N Broadway, or our Appleton location - The Pawffee Shop Cat Cafe. Both locations have kitties, beverages, and free WiFi available.

We do NOT have anymore of our cats staying in emergency housing at Oak View Veterinary Hospital, but we DO have all the love in the world for them as we could NOT have gotten through this disaster without them. 🌍🐾

From the time the roof-collapsed, to this very day, the team of people at Oak View have helped us in every way imaginable from medical donations to providing the emergency housing for our displaced animals. We will forever be grateful. Thank you, Oak View! ❤

It’s FINALLY move in day! 😍 We are moving 14 kitties to their temporary home at St. Paul's UMC Green Bay. We have this safe space to be together until November 1st when the temporary use permit runs out. We are hoping to secure a new permanent location by then. We’ll post soon to let you know when you can visit.🫶🏼

That’s our “princess.” Princess Lyla. 👑 She came to us after a car accident left her paralyzed from the waist down. Lyla needs around the clock care, like expressing to go potty, and strict hygiene routines, especially with her luxurious lion's mane.

Not everyone can summon the Lounging Princess to stand (meaning claw her way up the netting in her own playpen) ... not quite like Grandpa Terry can. If you've seen Safe Haven, you know who Grandpa Terry is...😂😍 Since our roof-collapsed, it's been an entire month since Lyla has seen her best friend! Using his facial expressions like a professional! 🏆 Catpurrnicus came to us on a transport from another shelter where he was at risk of euthanasia. He has feline immunodeficiency virus, but this doesn't mean he can't live a happy life! FIV+ kitties are so paw-sitively adoptable. 🐾
