🐾 Friday Training Tip 🐾
One of the biggest things I remind dog owners: training doesn’t only happen during a “training session.”
Training happens when your dog waits at the door.
When they walk nicely beside you.
When they settle while you’re eating dinner.
When they choose to check in with you instead of reacting to something around them.
Those little everyday moments matter!
Don’t worry about making everything perfect. Be consistent, reward the behaviors you want to see more of, and remember that every dog learns at their own pace.
After many years of working with dogs and their families, one thing I know for sure—the best training happens when both the dog AND the owner are learning together. ❤️🐾
