They may not remember what recovery was like, but we do 🤍

They don't remember the warm blankets, the gentle voices, or the extra cuddles while they wait to feel like themselves again. They don't remember all of the staff who were at their side, keeping a close eye on every sleepy blink.

We are the ones who remember the pets who need that extra reassurance as they wake up. We remember the ones who want to be held close and the ones who just need a quiet hand resting nearby. We celebrate the first signs that they're feeling better, whether it's lifting their head or immediately begging for treats.

The moments between surgery and going home are often unseen by families, but they're some of the moments that matter most to us. Every patient in our care is treated with the same kindness, comfort, and attention we'd want for our own pets.

Because caring for pets isn't just about medicine, it's about making sure they feel safe, loved, and never alone, even when they don't know it.

Goodbye, grooming room. Hello, mini treatment area!

We're excited to announce this new space as an alternative for holistic pets and those who have a harder time adjusting to the hustle of our main area. As the clinic grows, we're always looking for ways to best utilize every space. We hope to integrate this new addition into our daily routines soon!

It's crazy to think that it took 15 months for this little gentleman to double in size. He went from just 1.7lbs in February of last year to a whopping 3.9lbs now!

🌹🎓 Congratulations to our Aubreys 🎓🌹

Aubrey W graduated from Denmark! 🎉 She'll be continuing her schooling locally, studying Biology with a Pre-Veterinary emphasis at UW-Green Bay. Once that's complete, she'll be off to school again to become a Mixed Practice Veterinarian!

Aubrey D graduated from Bay Port! 🎉 This fall, she will be staying in Wisconsin, just a bit further South. She is enrolled at Madison Area TC for her Vet Tech Associate Degree and plans to transfer to UW-River Falls to finish her certification!

Both of these girls have been with Countrycare for over a year, and we're so proud of the progress they've made. While they currently share a position title and first name, there are so many differences that make them uniquely incredible.

Aubrey W always jumps into action and is willing to lend a hand. She is confident in her skills and careful where it counts. Aubrey D loves to learn by analyzing situations, then taking action with perfect timing. She is always watching other assistants, techs, and our vets to improve her skills every chance she gets.

Congratulations to you both. We can't wait to see what the future holds!

Happy 1st Anniversary, Aubrey! 🎉

Aubrey is our wonderful Vet Assistant who has spent the last year strengthening our team. Whether she's caring for our boarding pets, assisting with patients, preparing lab work, or jumping in to help our client care specialists at the front desk, she's always willing to lend a hand wherever she's needed.

Outside of the clinic, Aubrey enjoys all things nail care, spending time riding horses, and loving on her family's Golden Retriever. After graduating from high school, she's continuing her education at MATC before transferring to UW–River Falls to pursue her goal of becoming a veterinary technician. We love seeing her passion for animal care grow and are excited to watch her continue her journey.

Bree, thank you for all of your hard work, positivity, and willingness to help wherever you're needed. Your incredible organizational skills help keep us all on track, and your friendly, easygoing personality makes you a pleasure to work with every day. (We also have to give a small shoutout to your signature perfumes that make us forget the clinic is filled with all sorts of animals. They're amazing) We can't wait to see all that you accomplish in the years ahead!
