Did you know Buddy’s Vets has two locations? Even cooler, many of our team members work at both clinics to help make scheduling and care as convenient as possible for you and your pets. Whether you need to be seen at a certain location or want to see a specific doctor, we do our best to make it happen.

And the best part? Our two locations are only about 11 minutes apart. No matter which clinic you visit, you’ll still see the same friendly faces ready to help care for your furry family members.

Today is National Heat Awareness Day, and it’s the perfect reminder to keep our pets safe as temperatures rise. Pets can overheat quickly, especially during walks, outdoor playtime, or time spent in parked cars.

Remember to provide plenty of fresh water, limit outdoor activity during peak heat, test pavement before walks, and never leave pets unattended in a vehicle. If your pet seems excessively tired, is panting heavily, drooling, or vomiting, seek veterinary care right away.

Ever wonder why we check your pet’s weight at every visit? Weight changes can be one of the very first signs that something may be going on with your pet’s health. Even small gains or losses can help us catch issues early, adjust medication dosages safely, monitor nutrition, and keep your pet feeling their best.

That quick trip onto the scale plays a big role in your pet’s overall care.

Mila worked hard at her rehab appointment with Dr. Harper today using our stance analyzer!

It’s been almost 3 months since her TPLO surgery, and the stance analyzer helps Dr. Harper evaluate how much weight Mila is placing on each leg during recovery. Tracking progress like this helps us make sure she’s healing comfortably and getting stronger every step of the way.

Keep up the great work, Mila!

Answer: Aloe Vera is toxic to pets and can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and lethargy if ingested. Spider plants are considered non-toxic and are a much safer option for pet-friendly homes.
