✨ For This Week's Staff Spotlight: Meet Tosha — one of our amazing Veterinary Assistants! ✨
Tosha has been part of our clinic team for over a year and will celebrate two years with us this June. She grew up in Big Sandy, Montana, where she was surrounded by animals on her family’s ranch — including cows, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, cats, and dogs. Growing up around livestock and animals is what first sparked her passion for veterinary medicine.
Tosha is currently attending Penn Foster and working toward becoming a licensed veterinary technician. She graduated from Big Sandy High School in 2024 and chose veterinary medicine because she’s always wanted to care for animals and stay connected to the lifestyle she grew up with.
At the clinic, Tosha enjoys working with her coworkers and getting the chance to interact with both clients and their animals every day. She loves being involved in surgeries, appointments, and taking X-rays, but she says lab work is definitely her favorite.
Looking ahead, Tosha’s goal is to become a licensed technician, and she hopes to eventually work more with large animals and pursue ultrasound certification for cattle. Tosha is one of the kindest and most hard working members of our team and is such a great team player. She is always willing to help everyone to get what needs to be done accomplished and keep the clinic running smoothly!
Outside of work, Tosha spends time with her partner Ryan and their adorable son, Tucker — and she enjoys horseback riding, floating the river, and spending time outdoors. She’s also got a house full of animals herself with three dogs and two horses. On busy clinic days you’ll probably find her powered by an energy drink and grabbing local sub and soup shop, Grinders, for a power lunch.
We’re so glad to have Tosha on our team and love watching her grow and build her future in veterinary medicine! 💙🐾
