๐Ÿพ Meet Ellie โ€” our latest Board & Train graduate! ๐ŸŽ“
Ellie joined us for our 3-week Behavior Modification Board & Train program after developing severe reactivity toward her 14-year-old housemate. The attacks had escalated to the point of drawing blood, and the poor senior dog was shaking in her paws at the mere sight of Ellie.
Through foundation obedience, redirection, and calm human pack leadership, no yelling, no harsh corrections. Ellie transformed! In addition to the board and train, we had many ๏ฟผhome visits, one-on-one sessions, and committed owners made all the difference.
Today, these two girls can coexist peacefully again. ๐Ÿ™Œ
Big congratulations to LaVell and Ron for putting in the work and becoming the pack leaders their girls needed. We are SO proud of this family!

We are excited to welcome TWO new trainees to our Great Falls class! ๐Ÿพ
First up is Pilot, a 7-year-old, slightly grouchy Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix that I affectionately call a โ€œJackuaโ€โ€ฆ or just โ€œShorty.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜„ Pilot has had zero interest in things like sit or down, and nail trims? Absolutely not. He has even resorted to biting when his owners tried to handle his feet. Letโ€™s just say he has ruled the roost for far too long.
But hereโ€™s the exciting part, heโ€™s training WONDERFULLY. His sit and down commands are now stellar, and while he whines a little because he desperately wants to be first every session, itโ€™s only because he LOVES this engagement training. Watching his mindset shift has been so rewarding already.
Next, we welcome Luther, a one-year-old Labrador powerhouse with energy for days. This boy wants to pleaseโ€ฆ he just doesnโ€™t yet understand how or why. Personal boundaries are at the top of his lesson list (jumping on people is absolutely prohibited), but his enthusiasm for learning is incredible. He never runs out of stamina and is eager to work.
I am so excited to watch both of these guys grow over the next three weeks and see the transformations ahead!
