IT'S FLEA SEASON!!!

Our phones are ringing off the hook about pets with fleas! Several local groomers have even brought it to our attention.

This is why we recommend year-round flea and tick prevention!

FUN FLEA FACTS:

1: Fleas lay up to 2,000 eggs/month
2: 95% of fleas live on your furniture and carpet and only jump on your pet to feed.
3: Many over-the-counter flea and tick products do not kill enough fleas to effectively control flea infestation.

Come in today to get your prescription strength flea and tick prevention (valid veterinary/client/patient relationship required)

PS! An injection is now available that will kill fleas for 12 months!

Today we had Kitty, a 12-year old diabetic cat, in the clinic today. Dr. Jackie and Lorrie took time to draw some blood to check his sugar levels and make sure his kidney and liver function are working the way they need to as well.

Is your pet getting the nutrition they really need?

Good nutrition is about more than filling the bowl. The right balance of protein, healthy fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and water helps support your pet’s health at every stage of life.

And there’s no one-size-fits-all diet.

Your pet’s age, breed, activity level, and overall health all shape what they need.

Not sure if your pet’s current diet is the right one? Talk with our veterinary team. We can help you create a nutrition plan that fits your pet’s individual needs.

Healthy pets start with healthy nutrition.

We had a birthday over the weekend that we didn’t get to celebrate!

If you’ve been a part of Animal Care Hospital for any amount of time - you know how incredibly special and dedicated Lorrie is. ACH would not be the same without her and we would love to have you help us celebrate her!

Happy Birthday, Lorrie!
