What an incredible Adoption Day for Mavroudis Poodle Rescue! 💜 Today we celebrated as Dolly Parton, Ryuu, Cookie, Theo, Allie, and Hope each left foster care and headed HOME with their forever families! 🏡❤️

Every one of these babies came to us with a different story. Some needed healing, some needed patience, some needed a little extra confidence—and all of them needed someone willing to believe that their perfect family was out there.

Today, they found them. 🥹🐾

Theo may be a little guy, but he has a whole lot of puppy love to give! He’s young, sweet, and ready to begin the next chapter of his life with a family of his own.

Violet is an 8-month-old Goldendoodle with a whole lot of love, personality, and puppy fun packed into that adorable curly package!

Violet can be a little unsure during those first few moments, but give her a chance to realize she’s safe and she warms up quickly. Once she does, get ready for the playful, affectionate girl underneath! 💕 She enjoys other dogs and would love a family ready to continue building her confidence while giving her plenty of opportunities to run, play, learn, and snuggle.

Heather is a beautiful 4-year-old Goldendoodle who is ready to find the family she can love for the rest of her life. This sweet girl is the definition of a gentle soul with a big heart. 🐾

Heather is housebroken, crate trained, well behaved, and knows basic obedience. She loves being outside, playing with her toys, and—most of all—being close to her people. If you’ve ever wanted a furry shadow following you from room to room, Heather is happy to apply for the position! 😂💜

One of the things we love most about Heather is how wonderfully she has done with other animals. Her foster home reports that she has been great with dogs, cats, rabbits, and even chickens! Because she enjoys animal companionship so much, we would love to see Heather go to a forever home with another friendly animal companion.

🐾💙 HOW IS MAX STILL WAITING?! 💙🐾

Our sweet Max is about 13 months old, and this little guy has come SO far since arriving at Mavroudis Poodle Rescue.

When Max first came to us, he was scared of life and practically his own shadow. New people, new animals, new experiences—everything felt overwhelming. But once Max realized he was safe, his personality came bursting through. And what did we discover?

😂 A total class clown.
🧠 An incredibly smart little dog.
❤️ A happy boy who absolutely LOVES life.
Max is housebroken and crate trained and has been busy showing us just how much that adorable brain can learn. He knows shake, spin and down and is working on wait. He loves to run, play, learn and be part of whatever his people are doing.

Despite his smaller size, Max is NOT looking for a couch-potato lifestyle. This boy would thrive with an active family who wants a dog to actually do things with. We think he could be an incredibly fun candidate for agility, barn hunt, obedience, trick training or other dog sports. Give Max a job, make it fun, and watch that little brain go! 🐩💨

Ryuu is a 2-year-old Standard Poodle searching for an experienced adopter who appreciates just how intelligent, athletic, and driven this breed can be.

This handsome boy is exceptionally smart, crate trained, knows basic obedience, and has energy to spare. Ryuu loves to chase a ball and is the kind of dog who needs more than a couch and a backyard—he needs someone who will engage that incredible poodle brain!

⭐ Ryuu’s perfect home:
• Experienced, confident dog owner
• Active lifestyle with plenty of physical AND mental enrichment
• Someone interested in continuing obedience training
• Potential for dog sports, agility, barn hunt, scent work, or other activities
• He enjoys other dogs and would love appropriate canine friends
• NO cats, birds, rodents, or other small animals. Ryuu has a strong prey/chase drive and could seriously injure them.

Ryuu is smart enough to occasionally have his own opinions about the rules 😂, so structure, consistency, boundaries, and continued training will be important. In the right hands, we truly believe this boy could be an incredible partner.
