🐾💗 A LITTLE REMINDER ABOUT LOYALTY IN THE DOG GROOMING WORLD… 💗🐾
Being a dog groomer is about so much more than giving your dog a bath and a haircut. We build relationships with your dogs, learn their little quirks, remember their personalities, understand their needs and genuinely care about them as if they were our own. 🐶❤️
But here's the part that can be hard about running a grooming business… loyalty sometimes seems to be a thing of the past. 💔
You can spend years grooming someone's dog, building trust, going above and beyond, fitting them in when you can, and caring for their dog like one of your own. Then suddenly, they're gone… because someone else is cheaper, closer, or has an appointment available a little sooner.
And sometimes, you don't even get a goodbye or a simple message to let you know they're going elsewhere.
Of course, everyone has the right to choose their groomer, and we understand that life, finances and circumstances change. This isn't about expecting anyone to stay forever. It's about remembering that small businesses are run by real people, with real feelings, who put their hearts into what they do. 💕
We don't just lose an appointment when a customer leaves. Sometimes, we lose a dog we've watched grow up, a familiar face we've looked forward to seeing, and a little part of our working life that we've genuinely loved.
So to every customer who books regularly, recommends us to friends, supports our business, understands when we're fully booked and trusts us with their precious babies…
