Broad Park is fortunate to have a group of incredibly talented farriers who care for the horses’ feet here, but today, a special shoutout goes to Cassidy Bedard!

The long hours, dedication, and hard work never go unnoticed. After 11:00 PM last night, Cassidy was still going strong, making sure every horse, on the growing list, was tended to.

Thank you for being such an important part of the team and for everything you do for the horses. We appreciate you more than you know! 🙌🏻

We are incredibly grateful to our neighbor, Colby, and his team at Adams Electric LLC for all of their help this week!

His team completed several interior electrical projects, and Colby saved the day by bringing over his excavator to help with our hydrant replacement. I’d probably still be digging by hand otherwise!

While the machine was here, we were also able to trench for an additional frost-free hydrant and run electrical for outdoor outlets. These improvements will make keeping our outdoor water tanks heated next winter so much easier.

We can’t thank Colby and his team enough for their hard work, generosity, and willingness to lend a hand. We’re lucky to have such great neighbors.

Thank you, Colby and the Adams Electric team! 🙌🏻⚡

Our regulation large outdoor arena project is nearing completion!

06/22/2026

A little dirt work and a lot of excitement happening around here!

We’re bringing the original outdoor arena back to life—only bigger and better this time! The area that was once the original arena and later became paddocks is being completely revamped and expanded into a regulation-sized outdoor arena.

It’s been fun watching the transformation take shape, and we can’t wait to have all that extra space to ride, train, and enjoy Maine summers in the saddle. Stay tuned for updates as this project comes together!

What an incredible weekend at the D4K Kundrun TEAM Clinic at Broad Park Equestrian Center! A huge thank you to MPB Dressage, Matt Baillargeon and everyone at Broad Park Equestrian Center for hosting a wonderful clinic experience for our riders. Thank you to Fritz & Claudine Kundrun for their generous support of the D4K Kundrun TEAM Program, and to Lisa Schmidt for supporting the Victoria D. Schmidt and Lisa K. Schmidt TEAM Scholarship Program.

Scholarship recipient Brianna Christensen shared: "Without the support of Dressage4Kids, I would not have had the same opportunities to learn, challenge myself, and become a better rider and horsewoman. Dressage4Kids is much more than a program where young riders gain knowledge and experience. It is a stepping stone toward accomplishing dreams and a community filled with people who believe in you and genuinely want to see you succeed. No matter your age, gender, the size of your horse, or its breed, Dressage4Kids sees potential in every rider. There is a remarkable sense of partnership, encouragement, and care within the program, and I am truly thankful to be a part of it. Thank you for investing in young riders like me and for helping make our goals and dreams possible."

This is what Dressage4Kids is all about - opportunity, education, community, and believing in riders. Thank you to everyone who helps make these experiences possible!
