I take my time mainly for the safety of your dog, plus taking time and not rushing through a groom is a lot more calming for both your dog an myself, BUT this here is one huge reason grooms can take longer than expected...most dogs are wiggly, and rarely ever 100% cooperative. 
Grooming dogs require lots of patience and time, so please, if you need your dog groomed within a certain timeframe, then please reschedule for another day, because rushing through a groom is non-optional in my salon ‼️
