The Breed is called The Maine C**n Cat”

Please do not irritate me and write mancoon, mancon (unless you are speaking of the orange turd), maincoon, or Main C**n. America’s original breed is called The Maine C**n Cat. This mysterious and phenomenal large breed of cat is known as the gentle giant of the cat world. A female can be a healthy weight of 15–18 pounds, and a male can be anywhere from 15–25 pounds. The Maine C**n Cat is also the State of Maine’s official mascot.

While there are many stories regarding the origination of America’s original breed, The Maine C**n Cat, it is true that their history is rooted in this land farther back than the colonization of America by Europeans.

I became a breeder of this lovely breed in 1999. I am happy to be a Preservation Breeder—preserving the original Maine C**n Cat and all of its characteristics: chirps, trills, and exasperating behaviors (like knocking things off the counter for the fun of watching them fall!)—for future people to enjoy their quirks as much as I enjoy them.

So, please, if you enjoy a great cat with goofy behavior and a wide variety of vocal skills, respect them enough to learn their name.
