Patches is back with Gold Country Pugs ❤️

Some of our longtime GCP families may remember this handsome guy as Dancer. His name is now Patches, and after some changes in his previous home, he has come back to us.

When one of our puppies leaves Gold Country Pugs, our responsibility to them doesn’t end. If life changes and one of our dogs needs us again, they will always have a place to come home to.

For the next couple of weeks, Patches will be staying with us while we give him time to settle in and carefully evaluate his personality, behavior, routines, and what kind of environment will be the best fit for him moving forward.

Once we feel like we truly understand what Patches needs, our hope is to place him with one of our existing Gold Country Pugs families—someone who already knows our program, understands pugs, and can give this sweet boy the stability and forever home he deserves.

We’re not accepting applications just yet, but if you’re already part of the GCP family and Patches catches your eye, you’re welcome to reach out and let us know you may be interested. ❤️

For now, he’s home with us, getting lots of love while we get reacquainted. 🐾

Chanel & Prada may be sisters, but they’re each becoming their own little lady — and somehow getting cuter by the day. 🥹

A few weeks ago, Versace went home to meet his new family. ❤️🐾

His new dad told us that his daughter is absolutely obsessed with pugs, so he decided to make Versace a complete surprise for her.

There is something so special about knowing one of our puppies gets to be part of a moment like that — the kind of surprise she’ll probably remember forever.

Versace is officially home, very loved, and exactly where he’s supposed to be. ❤️

One of the best parts of raising puppies is getting updates like this. ❤️

Rocky (formerly Rocket) is doing amazing! He’s happy, healthy, loved beyond measure, and has become quite the little traveler — flying to Arizona, visiting the beach, and snuggling with his family every night.

And this is his best friend, Rocco. 🐾 Rocky and Rocco absolutely adore each other, and I think this photo says it all.

Seeing our puppies grow up and become such an important part of their families is exactly why we do what we do. ❤️

✨ Meet Chanel ✨

Some puppies have a way of making you smile the moment you see them… Chanel is one of those.

Her soft ivory-cream coat is beautifully accented by subtle champagne merle markings, giving her an elegant, almost pearlescent appearance that’s as unique as she is. Add in those expressive eyes and that adorable little pink nose, and it’s easy to see why she turns heads wherever she goes.

But Chanel is so much more than her looks. She’s sweet, curious, confident, and always wants to be part of whatever is happening. She has matured into a beautiful young pug with a lovely structure and an affectionate, easygoing personality that makes everyone who meets her fall a little bit in love.

Every puppy has their own journey, and sometimes the perfect match simply takes a little longer to find. Until then, we’re more than happy to keep soaking up every cuddle, every goofy expression, and every moment with this special girl. 🤍🐾

✨ Meet Pyrrha ✨

Some of you may remember her litter name, Dior. Today, we’re excited to officially introduce the newest member of our grumble…

Gold Country’s Pyrrha. 🩷

In Greek mythology, Pyrrha is the daughter of Pandora, making her name especially fitting as the daughter of our Pandora and Hermes.

Around our house, though, she goes by another name.

Our daughters named her Muffin, and they’re absolutely obsessed with her. From the moment they wake up until bedtime, she’s almost always in someone’s arms, following them around, or being showered with cuddles and attention.

She has an incredible personality to match her adorable face—confident, playful, curious, and always wearing that goofy little smile that makes it impossible not to fall in love with her.

We have high hopes for this special girl and are excited to watch her grow over the next couple of years. But for now, she’s simply enjoying being a puppy and soaking up every bit of love from her biggest fans.

Jasper has found his forever home! 💙🐾

This weekend, Jasper went home with his new dad, and we couldn’t be happier for them both!

One of the coolest parts? Jasper isn’t heading across the country—he’s staying right here in our community, just around the corner from my office. While we’re incredibly proud to have Gold Country Pugs families all across the United States and even in Canada, there’s something extra special about knowing one of our pups is growing up close to home.

Welcome to the Gold Country Pugs family! We can’t wait to watch Jasper grow and look forward to seeing him around for years to come.

Some families will drive just about any distance for the right puppy… ❤️

This sweet family made the trip all the way from Alturas, California to bring Uno home!

We’re so grateful they chose Gold Country Pugs and trusted us to be part of this special day. Watching a puppy meet their new family is one of the best parts of what we do, and seeing the excitement makes every mile worth it.

Safe travels home, Uno! We can’t wait to watch you grow and see all the adventures ahead with your wonderful family. 🐾
