Maple Leaf Rabbitry Currently taking a break from raising rabbits I got my start in raising rabbits in the late 1990's when I was in 4-H.

I started with Holland Lops and over the years have raised several other breeds for meat and show including English spots, Champagne D'Argents, Flemish giants, Californian, New Zealand, harlequins, silver fox and meat mutts. I am currently taking a break from raising rabbits as I have other hobbies I've chosen to focus on more.

Have had a few folks message the page lately. Not sure where the flurry of messages came from but we are taking a break from raising rabbits due to other interests taking up our time (have not had any since about 2022).

They sure have a cozy nest. Going to be windy here tonight but they'll be just fine 😊

We have re-bred our does to kindle later this month. Fingers crossed we will have success this time!

Sad to say I had to put down my favorite buck today. Had hoped to get another litter out of him this spring but his health was failing too much. He was 6 years old and produced many kits for me. Picture from when I first got him a few years ago.

I know there have been quite a few of you waiting to see when we will have kits available. Unfortunately our winter breedings have all been unsuccessful. We will post to our page when we have kits available.
