***CALLING EVERYONE***
We are needing your help to share far and wide. Share, Tag, and reshare. We are needing to find as many rescues as we can to help us out with these guys.
ALL DOGS HAVE RESCUE!!!! ♥ Please dont leave yet! Pledges will be greatly needed to help these rescues with vetting, most of them are Heartworm Positive... all need shots, to be fixed, etc.... please continue to network for ALL receiving rescues! They will need support. The longer these guys wait for financial help, the longer rescues have to wait with spaces tied up to help other dogs in Urgent needs. This is a HUGE undertaking! Transports, pledges, and support will still be needed... lets keep following and helping these angels till they get well and find their Happily Ever Afters, they certainly deserve it! Thank you all networking and pledging, fostering, transporting and ALL receiving rescues!!! Project Howlin Angels
A local Shelter in Southernmost Il. had operated as a shelter/sanctuary for several years. The owner had become overwhelmed with continual dogs being dumped or dropped off. She is now elderly and in ill health to where she is no longer even home to continue any care even if she physically could. This has left a great number of dogs in sub standard conditions lacking much care or socializing in an urgent need to be moved. This is a Shelter Evacuation! There is no possible way for any of these dogs to stay! Many have been there penned or crated for several years. ALL RESCUES and SANCTUARIES please be Alert! This is an EMERGENCY Closure/Evacuation for many dogs and they are all mostly all in need of TLC, Socializing, and Basic Obedience. They found themselves safe once but now they need to be saved again. This is a crittical situation! Please hear our Howl and make room to quickly assist! This is in a county with no Animal Control, matter of fact this shelter also had been this counties unofficial Animal Control for some time, so there is no where to fall back if rescues do not help these dogs. Illinois and Surrounding States.... Transports Can Be Arranged!!! Your Assistance is requested IMEDIATELY! RESCUE ONLY!!! ALL RESCUES MUST BE LICENSED OR 501c3! Thank You!

H4H will be contact, H4H will then be in contact with shelter to confirm and arrange removal/transport of the dogs. Vetting can be arranged for receiving rescues, transport can be arranged. Howlers can be reached by commenting in these posts or sending a PM to our page or [email protected]. A copy of rescue license or 501c3 will be needed to complete records of intake and transfer of the dogs to new rescues. All leaving the state will require a health certificate per state law.

Donations of Transport Crates of all sizes for transports is greatly appreciated! New or used please! Also collars and Leashes will be needed. Please also keep in mind for transports that dontions of new or used clean Sheets, blankets and towels would be great so they will have something to lay on for duration of transport. Experienced and Seasoned transporters need to be on stand by! Most of these dogs will be considered Flight Risk unless stated differently! Please let us know if you are available to be contacted to assist with transports. Thank You!
To everyone trying to help get these guys to rescues Huge Thank You's for networking so much! These dogs are all URGENT! Time needs to be spent on securing futures, not momentary "wishes & why's". So, please unless you want to help or know of a rescue that wants to step up & help then you will get a personal message back. Otherwise, thank you, keep sharing, and know someone is reading your comments and you are appreciated!
Want to make sure everyone understands Howlin 4 Hope is a network page, these dogs do not belong to H4H, they are located in a shelter that is closed and needs to be evacuated... we have been asked to take charge of contact thru network to give these dogs a solid chance to be moved as quickly as possible. H4H owns the photos and info and this is strictly a network page and we utilize our Howlers for needs of local rescues, animal controls, and in emergency services such as the Brookport Tornado last year and search and rescue for missing pets, etc. We are not a rescue but a neutral place for information and situations such as this. I think a few may have missunderstood as many new people are joining our page currently through this situation, just wanted to let all know that H4H is trying to help give these dogs a chance but is not the actual shelter that has them.
