🐾 Vet day chaos!

Taking a crew of dachshund puppies to the vet is always an adventure! Lots of wiggles, puppy kisses, and absolute chaos! 🤣

Everyone got a clean bill of health, had their microchips placed, and is looking fantastic! ❤️

Now we’re officially counting down the days until these little troublemakers head off on their new adventures with their families this weekend! 🏡🐾💕

Here’s our sweet Hunnie 🤍 She’ll be one of our upcoming mamas, and she’s such a fun example of why I love canine genetics.

Genetically, Hunnie is a Black & Tan Dapple Piebald, even though visually she looks much more like a red piebald. Genetics don’t always show up exactly the way you’d expect on the outside, and that’s part of what makes breeding and learning each dog’s genetics so interesting.

She’s beautiful, sweet, and I’m really excited to see what she produces someday. 🐾🤎

Cinder 🖤🐾

This little guy is such a happy, outgoing boy with the sweetest personality. He’s always wagging his tail, loves his belly rubs, and is usually right in the middle of whatever is going on. 😂

Cinder is still 👀 for his perfect 🏡✨

Trying to get 6-week-old puppies to stand pretty for pictures after they’ve spent all day playing is a whole sport. 😂 They were DONE, but still pretty dang cute.

This looks less like a puppy pen and more like the aftermath of a house party. 😂

One passed out on his back, another sprawled across the floor, toys everywhere, somebody putt a toy in the water… and absolutely no one is taking responsibility for what happened last night.
