Meet Tucker! 🐾💙

Tucker is an 8-year-old Keeshond who is looking for a new family to spend his golden years with.

Tucker was surrendered to us by his owner. We were initially told that severe allergies were causing health concerns in the home, and when he arrived, we were also told that they were unable to have him in their apartment. While we may not know the exact circumstances that brought Tucker to us, we do know that none of it was his fault.

Tucker is an incredibly sweet, mellow, and happy guy. He seems to take life in stride and enjoys being around just about everyone he meets. He loves people and has done well with the other dogs he has been around. At 8 years old, he is past the crazy puppy stage and already knows how to be a great companion.

Even better, Tucker comes with some wonderful house manners! He is housebroken, crate trained, and walks on a leash. He would be a great choice for someone looking for a more mature dog who can settle right into family life.

Tucker is neutered and current on vaccines and is ready for a fresh start.

Don’t let his age make you overlook him. Tucker still has plenty of love, companionship, and happy years ahead of him. ❤️ He deserves a family who will make sure his next home is his forever home.

Meet Cash! 🐾💙

Cash is a 1-year-old Lab mix with long legs, a constantly wagging tail, and a whole lot of love to give!

Cash was found as a stray and brought to us. We heard where he might belong, but unfortunately, his owner never came to claim him. Now this sweet boy is ready to start fresh and find a family of his very own.

Pictures really don’t do Cash justice when it comes to his size—this boy is mostly legs! He is tall, lanky, and currently weighs about 60 pounds, although he could stand to put a few more pounds on his frame.

Cash is an incredibly sweet boy who seems to love everyone he meets. His tail is almost always wagging, and when he gets extra excited, watch out—that happy tail can be a little wicked! 😂 He walks on a leash and already knows how to sit. He is young, eager to please, and we think he will be a quick learner when it comes to picking up more commands and manners.

Cash will need a little help finishing up his potty training, but with some consistency, we think he’ll catch on quickly. We haven’t introduced him to many other dogs yet because we didn’t know his vaccination history when he first arrived, so we are still getting to know how he does with canine friends.

Cash came neutered and is now current on vaccines and is ready to find his forever home.

If you’re looking for a sweet, happy, long-legged boy whose tail never stops wagging, Cash may be exactly who you’ve been looking for! ❤️

GILBERT FOUND A HOME!

Meet Gilbert! 🐾💙

Gilbert is a 1-year-old Pit Bull who might just be the happiest dog you’ll ever meet! This sweet, goofy boy absolutely loves everyone and everything and seems to think every day is the best day ever.
Gilbert came to us from another veterinary clinic after he was found as a stray. We don’t know much about his life before coming to the shelter, but we do know that he is ready to find a family of his very own!
Gilbert walks on a leash and appears to be potty trained. He does great with other dogs and has even met our shelter cats. During one introduction, a cat gave him a smack right across the face. Poor Gilbert looked completely heartbroken that the cat didn’t want to be his friend and simply walked away! 😂 Needless to say, we think he’ll do just fine sharing a home with feline friends.
When Gilbert gets outside to play, you can almost guarantee the zoomies will make an appearance! He loves to run, play, and enjoy life, but his favorite thing of all is being around people. He is friendly, affectionate, and always happy to see you.
Gilbert is neutered, current on vaccines, and weighs 51 pounds.

If you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky dog who loves people, dogs, cats, playtime, and pretty much everything else life has to offer, Gilbert might be your guy!

Come meet him or call us @308-352-2630. Foran adoption application please email pcanimalshelter@livelomc.

❤️ UPDATE ON OUR NEGLECT CASE DOGS ❤️

Look at how far this group has come! 🥹

When these dogs arrived, they had been living outside in cages, covered in fleas and ticks, with little to no food and drinking from mud puddles. Today, they are clean, safe, happy, and getting healthier every day! Every single one of them has gained weight, their personalities are starting to shine, and they are learning what it feels like to be cared for. ❤️

Some are goofy, some are shy, and some just want to cuddle. We are so proud of the progress they have made.

A few of the dogs are also continuing their heartworm treatment, which will take several months to complete, but they are doing well.

🐾 We are now starting to accept adoption applications for this group!

They are not able to leave us just yet, as we are still waiting for the official word from the authorities. However, we would love to start reviewing applications and finding potential families now. That way, once we are given the okay, these dogs can be ready to move on to the next chapter of their lives.

They came to us simply trying to survive. Now they are healthy, happy dogs getting ready to find homes of their own. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared their story, and supported their care. You helped make this transformation possible!

🐾 Meet Will! 🐾

Will is a 6-month-old Lab mix who is just about as happy-go-lucky as they come! ❤️ He loves everyone he meets, has been well socialized, and already knows some basic commands. He's also very treat motivated, which should make training this smart boy a breeze!

Will is neutered, current on vaccines, and currently weighs 37.6 pounds. We expect him to be around 60 pounds full grown.

He's ready for an active family to grow up with—could it be yours? 🐶💙

🐾UPDATE🐾 We decided to go with the. And Boyd. It’s a great play off of boy and we think he will adjust quickly. Thank you everyone for the suggestions!

This guy came to us with the name "Mama's Boy." We think he needs a different name. Any suggestions?
