Route 4 Farms Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Breeder We are a Korthals Griffon USA Preservation Breeder that raise, train, and hunt over Wirehaired Pointing Griffons.

Our mission is to produce exceptional upland bird and waterfowl hunting dogs emphasizing health, temperament, and conformation. This is accomplished through selective breeding and validated through testing.

- Sires and dams must hold a hunting title through the North America Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA), and/or American Kennel Club (AKC), and/or United Kennel Club (UKC).

- Full health clearance are certified through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) Canine Health Information Center (CHIC) on both sire and dam.

- Our dams have their structure and temperament independently confirmed to the breed standard through the UKC. Ruka, Zari, and Bo have retired from our breeding program. Three litters from Ruka and Bo earned NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeder's Awards; our fourth from a stud dog placed in Massachusetts. My pups tangled with coyotes this morning. It appears that Syd got the short end of the stick. From what I can tell, coyotes seem to target the flank. Syd has a pretty good sized gash to get stitched up.

A couple weeks ago, I went on a grouse and dove hunt in the Nebraska Sandhills with a group of fellow veterans.

While I was mostly limited to dove hunting due to my back, Mokey was hunted hard and made new friends.

I also got to see Kya! She is such a sweet girl. I miss her a lot. Unfortunately, I cannot keep them all.

Kya and I shared the same room. She took the opportunity to curl up and sleep beside me, which was interesting as I was in a twin bed lol.

Mokey is shaping up to be a heck of an upland dog.

Day two of steadiness training. Today she was steady to wing shot and fall. She also has a nice natural retrieve to develop.

While I am sure that she will regress, I am okay with where she is at right now.
