Last week we took Party in to have a hernia surgery. Upon further evaluation when he was under anesthesia they discovered he didn't only have one hernia needing surgery but a second one was found in his sc***um. So what was supposed to be an umbilical hernia surgery turned into two hernia surgeries and a castration.
We had planned to bring him home on Saturday but he had an unexpected fever and elevated heart rate that day leading us to leave him a little longer knowing he was in the best care.
Party got to return home yesterday. We couldn't be more thankful for the amazing care he received during his week at Idaho Equine.

Meet Pierce

Pierce is a 7 year old Appaloosa gelding standing just under 16 hands. Hes as wide as he is tall, and wears a size 2 shoe.
