Whos looking for a pasture pet?
I have a lesson horse who had an injury earlier this year which prevents him from being a lesson horse any longer.
Hes wonderful to brush and be friends but not for riding any longer.
This handsome boy has a home here if one the perfect place isnt found. However I wanted to offer him incase hes what someone ia looking for.
Hes an easy keeper in his teens. We have used him to be the older horse in with weanlkngs and thats his preferred job. Last year he alao spent the winter with our stallion. He gets along with anyone. Making him a great companion option for older horses or even small horses.
There is a small rehoming fee and again he has a home here if a new one is not found.

As we are back into fall I am looking at dates for some fall trail rides. Whos interested? 😃 if i get a rough head count...

As we are headed back into the school year our lesson schedule will be changing.
We will have Fridays available starting in September
At 11am and 1pm kids currently in lessons get first dibs on spots and if both groups fill i will add another time slot.
I am also available to schedule private or semi private lessons after school or during the week for any home school kids or adults.
We are accepting new students as well!

Yesterday we headed to the mountains for a trail ride. These two kids were in town visiting family and got the opportunity to experience their very first horse back ride in thw mountains.
With the good comes the sad. This was a day I have been dreading all year. My very favorite employee had her last day with us before heading to college. Its been a fantastic few years having Ariana work for us in the lesson program and she leaves some big shoes to be filled! We wish her the best in her next chapter and know she's going to do amazing things!

Monday afternoon group. This group has gotten a chance to try several different lesson horses since they started here. One gelding in particular has been a slow going guy for two of three of these riders. Yesterday we switched it up and saw a gelding with pep in his step with a new rider. I always say each horse is different with each riders energy.
