Education, Teamwork & A Little Fun! ✂️🐾🎓

Last week, our salon took some time away from the grooming table and headed out for continued education! 🎓✨

Continuing our education is incredibly important to us. The grooming industry is constantly evolving, and we believe our pets deserve groomers who are always learning, improving, and staying up to date on the safest and best techniques.

We had an absolute BLAST learning, laughing, and growing together as a team! ❤️🐶 And while we spent our days sitting in classes, soaking up as much knowledge as possible, we made sure to have a little fun after class too! 😜

Our evenings were filled with adventures to IKEA, The Cheesecake Factory, and Dave & Buster’s—because what’s continued education without a little team fun?! 😂

But these adventures weren’t just about having fun. They’re team-building activities too! Spending time together outside of the salon helps us build stronger relationships, communicate better, laugh together, and create a stronger team. And we definitely made some memories along the way! ❤️

This won’t be a one-time thing! We are committed to continuing our education every year and bringing new knowledge, skills, and techniques back to our salon and, most importantly, to your pets. 🐾

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we took this time to invest in ourselves and our team.

It’s time to put those puppy brains to work! Our Enrichment Day will give daycare pups the chance to explore activities designed to encourage sniffing, problem-solving, confidence, and calmness.

We wanted to let you know that our grooming salon will be closed 8/13- 8/16 while our entire grooming team attends continuing education classes and certification training.

At Kryder Salon, we believe that learning never stops. The grooming industry is constantly evolving with new techniques, safety standards, handling methods, and advances in skin and coat care. Investing in ongoing education allows us to continue providing the highest level of care, comfort, and safety for every pet that walks through our doors.

While we understand that temporary closures can be inconvenient, this time away is an investment in your pets. Our team will be returning with new knowledge, updated skills, and additional certifications that help us better serve you and your furry family members.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued trust in us. Your support allows us to prioritize education and professional growth so we can continue delivering the quality of care you expect and your pets deserve.

If you anticipate needing an appointment around our closure dates, we encourage you to schedule in advance, as appointments before and after our training may fill quickly.

🐾 We’re Hiring! Part-Time Receptionist for Our Grooming Salon 🐾

We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Part-Time Receptionist to join our team!

Position Details:
• Up to 20 hours per week. Mon-Fri 9am-12/1pm
• Hourly position
• Potential for full-time employment as our salon continues to grow

What We’re Looking For:

Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of dog breeds and sizes preferred
Confidence of creating, posting, and managing social media content (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
**Professional grooming or bathing experience is a HUGE plus!**

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to client questions in a friendly, professional manner
• Book, confirm, and reschedule grooming appointments accurately while correctly inputing client information in profiles.
• Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in.
• Handle payments, process transactions, and provide receipts as needed
• Help keep the grooming area clean and jump in when grooming assistance is needed.

Expectations:

• Provide excellent customer service and represent the salon in a positive, professional manner
• Arrive on time, be dependable, and communicate clearly with clients and team members
• Stay organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Maintain accurate appointment, client, and payment records
• Be proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to help wherever needed to support the team
