Meet the Australian Cattle Dog, also known as a Blue Heeler or Red Heeler! These hardworking pups are built for adventure and definitely aren’t afraid to keep their humans on their toes! 😂

FUN FACT: Australian Cattle Dogs were developed in Australia to help herd cattle across long distances and tough terrain. Their intelligence, stamina, and determination make them incredible working dogs!

Heelers are highly intelligent and love having a job to do. Without enough physical AND mental stimulation, they may decide to create their own entertainment… and you might not approve! 😜

Heelers have a short, dense double coat that sheds—A LOT! Regular brushing helps remove loose undercoat and keeps their skin and coat healthy.

Yorkies were originally bred in England to hunt rats in textile mills! Today, they’re much more likely to hunt for treats, snuggles, and the comfiest spot on the couch. 😂

👑 A LITTLE HISTORY
The name Shih Tzu means “lion dog” in Mandarin, and they were cherished as companion dogs by Chinese royalty.

✂️ GROOMING FACTS:
That gorgeous flowing coat is actually high maintenance! Shih Tzus have hair that continuously grows rather than a typical shedding coat.
Regular grooming is important to:

✨ Prevent mats and tangles
✨ Keep the skin clean and healthy
✨ Maintain comfortable eyes, ears, and feet
✨ Keep nails at a healthy length

We are proud to say that many of our groomers are now certified in Hair and Skin, Difficult dogs, Doodles, Enrichment grooming, Asian fusion, Pet first aid and CPR, and Business operations.

As our salon continues to grow, we are committed to providing the highest level of care, safety, education, and quality grooming for every pet we welcome through our doors. In order to continue doing that, we will be implementing a grooming price increase effective 10/1/26.
Our updated pricing reflects the time, skill, products, equipment, and continued education that go into every groom. We are constantly investing in our team and our salon so we can continue providing the individualized, one-on-one care your pets deserve.

What’s changing:
🐾 Full grooming prices will be adjusted based on your pet’s weight and coat length.
🐾 Standard bath prices will be adjusted based on weight, with additional charges for heavy trimming.
🐾 Nail trims with filing: $20
🐾 Day-of/urgent grooming: additional 20%
🐾 Medicated/anti-itch shampoo: additional $7-$14
🐾 Creative grooming/color: additional charges apply based on the service and number of colors.

Please remember that grooming prices are starting prices (+). The final price may vary depending on coat condition, matting, behavior, time required, and the amount of work needed to safely and properly complete the groom.
We understand that price increases are never easy, and this decision was not made lightly. We truly believe in providing quality over quantity and taking the time necessary to keep your pets safe, comfortable, clean, and looking their best.

Siberian Huskies are beautiful, energetic, intelligent, and famous for their dramatic personalities! They were originally bred to pull sleds over long distances, so that seemingly endless supply of energy comes naturally. 🛷🐺

👀 THOSE EYES!
Huskies can have blue, brown, or even one of each! Their striking eyes are one of the breed’s most recognizable features. 💙🤎

🧥 GROOMING FACTS:
That gorgeous fluffy coat is a double coat, consisting of a dense undercoat and a protective outer coat.
