I ran labs early this morning and my upland dogs midday today. It's been such a hot summer my bird dogs have gotten fat and sassy. Lol. But we've slimmed down on our client dogs and with the cooler weather we can run a few bird dogs also. This is my 5 year old Ella. She was as green as they come when I got her. Just a kennel dog her while life. I got her last spring and put her on a ton of birds. She also has a natural retrieve and point. She whoaed super easy. Her nose is out of this world. Shes in heat right now. But I dont wanna breed her right before upland season. So maybe she will have pups in the spring. She definitely qualifies to be bred based on her talents. She learned all these things as a 5 year old dog. Its in there ol son. The first bird in the video, I dont trust her and pull her off of it. Because I didn't plant it there. But we go back after the video and she was right. That bird had gotten up and moved. She knew that and I should have trusted her. So proud of this little girl.

Now I want to introduce BWDR's Eye of the Tiger...... Rocky. He's my new little 5 month old started male American Brittany pup. Rocky is a birdy little pup with lots of natural abilities. He's got a very natural point and retrieve. Both of those things are mandatory in my bird dogs. This is the secondary breed that we have chose to go with in our program. Labs and Brittanys. This makes our 3rd Brittany. We have Ella. We have my new 11 week old female pup Polly and now little Rocky. Super excited to have these Brittanys in my upland string. We trained out first Brittany last summer. His name was Woody. We fell in love with Woody and the breed. We will have one litter of golden retrievers every now and then with our Harper girl. But they have too much hair for me. Lol. But we love Harper and her personality.

Clifford starting to transition from 3 hand cast to T drills. Some push/pull work, some lining, some casting and a good analog about the e collar. Straight from the book of Mike. Chapter 2 verse 1. Lol Thou shall not fear the collar. It's a tool. It sp*eds up this process immensely. Period. Does it take some understanding and time to learn how to use it properly. Absolutely it does. Just like anything does. But I refuse to live a life of fear. Fear of what somebody might think about me or say about me. NEVER. I don't like snakes but I'll pick one up and throw it at you. Lol. So fear not. You're not fixing to train this dog without a collar. He will knock you down and p*e on you. He can smell weakness across the yard. Just like my daddy could. Lol. I use balance in training. I teach you what I want you to do with treats and grace. Then, once you know it, and refuse, you have repercussions.

Clifford is doing great. Starting to figure it out. He's steady and biddable, eventhough, he'd rather have his way. He's gonna be such a fantastic dog. And a beast in the field. A dog to talk about for years to come. Clifford is a Drake/Luna pup. He's owned by the Rudesill family

Now we have Boone. Aka Booner Rooner. Lol. Man what a smart and gorgeous little dog. He's a Cache/Jude pup out of Jude's final litter. He's so fun to be around. He's a hair hard headed, like every young male dog I've ever trained. But not as much as most. He's gonna be a superb little hunting dog. Proud to have produced this caliber of pup. Proud of his progress so far. And you will be able to follow his progress from start to finish here on the page. Just like all the rest of the dogs. Boone is owned by my buddy Damon Boyd

This is the second half of Lemy's video. I skipped the first half. And only posted the second half. Ill probably put the first part on the subscriber page. I don't edit videos, other than if they are too long to post. Then I cut them down to qualify for the parameters of Facebook. No bold heading. No colored attractive banner. Just raw footage of dogs doing their thing. If you can use it cool, if not, I tried. I don't wear fancy clothes or designer leggings (you're welcome). Just dogs training. Period. I make these
to help people self train and owners to see their dog advancing. I try to break down all aspects of training. From the first day to the last. I hope these videos help you. But it will always just be dogs doing dog stuff. Lol.

Lemy is gonna be an amazing hunting dog. She's smart and sweet. And super driven. Sexy as a hundred dollar bill. Can't wait to see her in front of a pile of ducks. She's a super star like I predicted to her owner her first week here.

Drama girl living her best life. A 3 man limit of woodies in the morning and lovings to go with it. So glad she got the opportunity to live out her life in Iowa with our friend Randy Turner. Man what a dog. So grateful for the Turner family. And all the updates. Mr Randy told me she went plumb under the water to get a couple of them dudes. Rock on pretty girl.

Now we have Clifford. These cooler mornings allow us to get so much more done with these guys. But most of all slow down and communicate better. Rushing is my downfall. But we slow down some here. And take away most of the anticipation and confusion. Clifford is an amazing dog. He's got lots of juice. Enough for like 3 dogs. Lol. But hes doing great. Proud of him the past few days. We will transition to T patterns this week I believe.
