Happy Meet the Staff Monday!🐾
Today, we are highlighting another kennel staff member, Alex!
Alex started with Whiskers in June of 2025, and is known for her easy going, chill and friendly attitude!
You can usually find Alex doing zoomies with the play groups, as she also has a lots of pent up energy! (Hence her favorite daycare kiddo being our beloved Mr. Bruno!)
Her favorite thank you goodies from clients are donuts and cookies, sweet treats are always the way to our hearts!
Her favorite way to spend a day off, is curling up with a good book, hanging out with friends, or a beach day with her 10 year old border collie mix, Mimzy to Lake Michigan.
Alex has been such a joy to have on our team since she has started! Her realness, sarcastic jokes, and even tempered spirit has a trickle effect on our whole staff and we love her for it!
Please know that if your dog is here for daycare and Alex is working, they’ll be so tired from chasing HER around the yards, they will more than likely crash as soon as get that first paw through the threshold.😆

Today, we welcomed back one of our previous puppy students, Archie, for his second round of training to help further his obedience skills! 🐾

We are so excited to have Archie back here with us and can't wait to see all the progress he makes! 🐾🥰

Happy Meet the Staff Monday!🐾
Today, we are featuring a member of our kennel staff, Michael!

Michael started with Whiskers in June of 2025, and is known for his positive attitude, and genuine kindness he exudes to all!
You can usually find Michael in a large dog yard playing tug with the high energy kiddos, or sitting with a nervous first time daycare or resort guest that needs some love and encouragement.
His favorite food to treat himself to during his shift is Tropical Smooth Cafe.
His favorite way to spend a day off is with his fur kiddo, Meadow! She is a 7 year old lab full of love and happy go lucky energy!
We are so thankful to have Michael working with us, and know that if your dog is staying with us overnight, Michael makes sure to tuck them into bed with their blankets and favorite stuffed animals during room checks.❤

With all of our new students starting their training programs, we can't forget about our amazing graduates! Recently, we had Birdie and Porsha graduate from their training programs! 🐾🎉

Birdie graduated from our puppy program with flying colors and is so ready to take on the world as she grows into an amazing dog!

Porsha graduated from a custom training plan focusing around boosting her confidence and implementing some obedience. Miss Porsha truly blossomed during her training program and we couldn't be more proud of her!

Congratulations, Birdie & Porsha! We're so proud of you! 🥰🐾

We welcomed a new face and a familiar face back to Whiskers University this week! 🥰

Eri is a previous training dog of ours and we are excited to work with her again! 🐾

Wilson is a new student with us and we are so excited to see him come out of his shell and help him on his training journey! ❤

Some of our boarding dogs enjoying "leisure" play. This is time for our boarding dogs to get a break from playtime with others, and get some one on one play, or maybe they don't like play with others at all. We call it leisure but the dogs get to choose. (Some shots with siblings)

Meet the Staff Monday! 😍✨

Meet Sadie! Sadie has been working the front desk for the past three years! 🥳

Her favorite play group is our M1 groups. The medium size more chill dogs who just like to wander and sniff each other!

Her favorite way to spend her day off is going on a nature hike with her two dogs, Lucy the Saint Bernard, Chester the lab, and with her human baby boy and husband! 🐶

Her favorite meal to order while working is the Greek fries from Pita House!

We are so grateful to have Sadie apart of our team! You can always count on her for a positive attitude and friendly face! 💖
