Animal Clinic Inc. Our staff is committed to providing the best possible veterinary services for your companion animals. We value all pets.

The Animal Clinic is a full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Grand Rapids, MI. The professional and courteous staff at the Animal Clinic provides the best possible medical care, surgical care, dental care, daycare, and boarding care for our valued patients. We go through a rigorous inspection by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) to ensure that we are doing the best job for you and your pet. We are one of the oldest AAHA certified clinics in the United States and we take pride in that fact. We do not discriminate between feathers, fur, scales, size, number of legs, color, etc because we see everything from pocket pets, birds, reptiles, cats, and dogs. We have over 60 years of veterinary experience including 30 years serving as the John Ball Zoo veterinarians. Along with serving John Ball Zoo, we proudly take care of the Grand Rapids Police Department, Muskegon, and Allegan county K-9 unit dogs. We also care for the dogs at Mackenzie's dog sanctuary, which is the largest no-kill dog sanctuary in the mid-west. We value the animals in nature, so we care for the animals at Wildlife Rehab Center so they can be released back into the wild. Least not we forget our felines, we serve several cat rescue groups. If you have any medical questions, please feel free to call and/or make an appointment at (616) 241-3651.

28th Street SE is under construction! Please keep this in mind when heading to our clinic for your pet's appointments. It always helps to let us know when you are running late as we can better try to accommodate a shift in our schedules.

We want to let you all know about the back road to our clinic, Eola Street. You can travel through from Division Ave to Eola Street to us.

Every pet deserves love and play, and today we want to discuss our beloved pets with hearing loss. Since they cannot hear well enough to respond to verbal cues, we recommend learning hand signals and flashlight signals. Good outdoor safety means a harness and leash on each pet during each outing. A bell on the harness or collar is never a bad idea, either, in case your pet is feeling sneaky. Tell us about your experiences with your deaf pets!

Purina Pro Plan sent our clinic information about their Feline Urinary Diet (UR) getting a formula refresh at the start of October. If you have a cat or two eating this diet, please reach out to Purina for assistance in the diet change. They are recommending a slow transition to avoid stomach upset or other gastrointestinal concerns.

Have a happy week! 🐱
