Such fun trying out a new dog sport today! Rizzo and I attended our first Earth Dog event and she passed both intro and both novice tests and earned her novice title! In the novice earth dog test, the dogs must enter an underground tunnel and find a rat den inside (the rat is safely contained in a cage). The dog must then work the rat for at least 30 seconds by barking, growling, digging, pawing, or biting at the cage, etc. It’s amazing seeing dogs do the jobs they have been bred to do for centuries.

Ferris couldn’t take part in Earth Dog (although he probably would have liked to) because it is only permitted for specific breeds such as dachshunds, schnauzers, and smaller terriers, but he had fun tagging along and hanging out with some friends. 🥰

I present to you, the official worst lighting for any graduation photos ever taken 😂 It was getting dark by the end of our last week of Skills & Sequencing agility class this week but Harlow, Piper, and Echo still deserve their props! They all learned a lot during this class and Echo and Harlow braved their first AKC trial! Way to go everyone! 👏
