What a big day! Cancer Survivor Event and Lemmon Holton & the annual WMTD Picnic! So many pets. So many treats. So many friends! Mom did a pretty good job her first go round throwing the picnic. She’s got big plans for next year now that she knows the drill! I was a lil overwhelmed by all the excitement but it was still fun to be out and about doing what we do!

I’ve been pretty choosy about my friends ever since my best friend Samson died but tonight I met Mr. Biscuit! He reminded me tons of my Samson and I could tell we were kindred spirits right away 🥰.

Being a part of WMTD is just the bestest thing in the world. Lots of opportunities ahead of me to make a difference just like my main man Sam. He taught me well. I do you proud Samson ... promise! 💙

These two sweet souls were reunited today. While my heart is shattered and shocked right now, I sit here imagining Samson running into the arms of his favorite boy and an internal smile sweeps over me.

Samson, you were an Angel straight from Heaven for us from the moment we met you. You were the something soft we needed in very hard times. I have been thinking and thinking all day about words that will sum up everything you have meant to me... The words do not fit. They are not enough. All I can say in this moment is that I miss you. I was not ready. This is not fair. You deserved more. You were the Ultimate Difference Maker and I'm sure David is telling you right now how proud he is of you. Stick with him now as you always did... greet me at heavens gate like you always did here on earth. With a smile and a tilt of your head. With unconditional love that melted away every fear, every sorrow, every sadness. I love you my best boy... I always will. 💙

It’s been a while since I’ve posted! As you can se we had a fantastic summer! Lots of relaxation and fun but now it’s time to get back in the swing of difference making! Lots of big stuff goin on! Super proud of my little bro Finnley for graduating from class, completing all his shadow visits, and becoming a certified therapy dog with WMTD! Super proud if my mom too... she’s been elected to the Board of Directors at WMTD! I’m not sure what that means exactly but she seems happy about it 😋. And let’s not leav me out... I hate to toot my own horn but.... I get to ge a part of the brand new courthouse program! Making a difference with kids and vulnerable adults that need to testify about hard things that have happened to them. I’m super excited about being able to comfort humans going through stressful stuff like that. Mom says I have a gift for it💙. Well... looks like we’ll have to change the name of my page here! Don’t want to leave Finnley out! He’s gonna do great things too!

I’m sure not ready to hand over the torch to the “lil” guy any time soon but I’m real happy to have him join the ranks! Love you Finnley! Let’s go make a difference 💙

Super Proud of my “little” brother! At only 1 year old, he passed his pre screen test with West Michigan Therapy Dogs with flying colors! Not just passed... but passed at almost MY level! Looks like this fella is well on his way to being a Difference Maker! I’d say I’ve been the good influence Mom was hoping I would be 😉. Nicely Done Finnley! Keep up the good work! Love you Bro!💙

What A Week! 3 visits in 4 days! Got to love on a whole bunch of my favorite kinds of humans... kids & retirees 😍. I don’t know why, but those two groups of people... be still my human loving heart... the pure joy I feel spilling out of them when I walk in the room. The tenderness and happiness in their touch. There’s something In their eyes that seems to “get” me and everything else fades away. I guess somewhere along the way... all the “life” you humans get busy with in between... the years can take its toll, be distracting, become lots of noise, I get it I suppose. I just wish all humans could be like kids and my retirement home friends... present...feeling the “soft” moments... at least for a lil while. 💙. Now please excuse me while I just lay here and take a little nap! I’m pooped 😴.

This is my new friend Pavlov! He’s taller than me! And Way Bigger! I don’t think I’ve ever met a taller dog than me?! 🤪Not only do I get to make new human friends... Yesterday was super special! I got to do a special visit with a very special patient! Just me! And Mom of course... I mean I need a driver right? So my new friend has been in the hospital for a real long time. We first met last week on our regular visit. She enjoyed the visits with us four legged fur balls so much that her mom asked if we could keep coming maybe a little more often so we can cheer her up so... I was like... DUH! Of course! More attention? More time with Mom? More rides? More... ice cream? Well that’s a no brainer! Her mom was on the spot and got some pics of us cruising around the floor. It’s always fun to take humans for a walk 😉. It’s a double edged sword this hospital gig. In a way I hope I never see my new friend again because that would mean she’s all better and out living her wonderful life! But then... I like my new friend... and I would like to see her again. We laid so nice by each other in her bed for like a real long time. I don’t do that with just anyone. Just ones who need me. So I guess as long as she needs me... I’ll be there for her as often as I can. And someday, when she’s all better and doesn’t need me anymore... I'll know she’ll always be in my heart and I think I’ll be in hers too 💙. That’s Difference Making at its finest😊

I’m not gonna lie... this might be my favorite part of my visits here. Hey! Don’t judge! I’m a giver 99.9% of the time.... it’s nice to receive a smidge now and then too 😉
