2 months into the soil in Live planted tank for Family Medicine Specialist PC in Grand Rapids MI. Today we added our first fish, more plants and some decor that was cleaned up from the old tank 🤩. This tank is Snail approved - it has been so fun to work on! Seeing the smiles on all of the staff and patients faces when they find the shrimp has been inspiring! Thank you FMSPC for allowing me to add some new friends to your space. 😊

New home alert 🚨 Aaron’s Aquatics has some little new members to the team and the parents had to get a tank upgrade! Help us congratulate Hank and Malinda our snail parents!!! Theses baby snails will be ready for new homes in a few weeks once they have grown and their shells get stronger. We upgraded the tank so they all have the room they need to get nice and strong! This tank will also become an experimenting ground to find out which terrarium plants snails love to eat and which ones they will leave alone. Hopefully with this experiment we can find out how to create the most natural home for them we can!

I am very excited to share my most recent project an enclosed terrarium. We will be adding some beneficial isopods to it so they keep it clean.

At Aaron’s Aquatics we don’t just do fish! Look at this cool land snail terrarium! 🐌 such a cool Christmas gift! Snails make great LOW maintenance pets! They rely on a vegetarian diet of leafy greens and vegetables. Each snail has its own favorite food! The snails this client got are typically used for skin care products, how cool is that!!! Another fun fact about this type of snail is they are very social. You can give them baths and hold them. Let me know if you have any questions!
