It’s been a long, hot work week but I’m finally able to get back to stockings. If all goes well, I’ll have them done this weekend.

More progress on the first set of 2026 stockings. I know it doesn’t look like much in this picture, there’s 3 steps I took to get here though. Each stocking is a process of steps and each step is a little celebration to me.

One of my favorite items to make is Christmas stockings. I have a Rubbermaid storage tote full of Christmas and winter fabrics to prove it. I like hearing your ideas too though. What would everyone like to see for Christmas stockings? Traditional Christmas/winter prints and colors? Non Christmas like Star Wars, Disney, marvel etc?

Doesn’t look like much, yet. New set of bandanas were cut out today though. Pretty soon it’ll be time to start working on Christmas stockings again.

Today we have three of the unhelpful helpers: Pickett, Manatee and Gemini. Hobbies include sitting on my fabric when I’m trying to cut it and teleportation to the living room when I’m stuffing cat toys. Addictions - catnip.
