Today is World Rabies Day, a crucial worldwide awareness day that highlights the importance of combating rabies, a deadly viral disease that affects not only household pets but also countless animals worldwide, including dogs, cats, bats, raccoons, and many others. It's a day to educate ourselves and others about the risks and consequences of rabies, and to take action to prevent its spread by vaccinating our pets, avoiding contact with wild animals, and supporting global efforts to eradicate this preventable disease.

September is the month for responsible dog ownership, and it's essential to acknowledge the many happy pups that live in good homes, surrounded by loving families who provide them with the care and attention they deserve. However, it's still crucial to spread the word about the importance of taking care of our furry friends, as there are many more that are not as fortunate. By raising awareness, we can make a difference in the lives of these amazing animals and ensure they receive the love, care, and respect they deserve.

September is a special month that shines a spotlight on the incredible work of guide dogs, who do a truly fantastic job of helping individuals who need a little extra assistance in navigating their daily lives, whether it's walking around their neighborhoods, running errands, or simply getting from one place to another. These dedicated canine companions provide invaluable support, independence, and confidence to those who rely on them, and it's essential that we recognize and celebrate their remarkable contributions during National Guide Dog Month! 🐕💕

Preparing food for your pet may feel like your number one way to show them you love them. After all, when your companion looks you in the eye with those big brown puppy-dog eyes, or your geriatric cat greets you with a tap of the head at sunrise, it’s hard not to crack open that bag of kibble. Pouring too much food into your pet’s bowl may seem harmless, but it can add up to huge problems over time.
