Its cold outside, the remaining daycare dogs, Deuce Black One) and Bigs (pitty) are snoozing on the couch. Stetson, (the dog standing), never sleeps, I'm not even sure if she sleeps at home. She has that GSP energy she spends the whole looking for toys, and like in this photo watches other dogs sleeping.

To everyone that has dogs staying with us at RUFF Around The Edges we are aware of the storms that have been predicted today that are moving through the area. All the dogs are inside now and have blankets and are watching TV on the big screen. We have taken down shade nets in yards in the case the wind gets bad or if hails which weights down the nets. We are on the property and will stay on the property so your dogs will not be left alone. The dogs will be given another bathroom break later today.
All is well and were on top of things here. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to call.

RUFF Around The Edges wants to mention an amazing and wonderful person in Grand Junction. Necko LaVato has stepped up to help the people in his community during an emergnecy water shut off at twin rivers park, we set up a water station for the residents of twin rivers park to be able to get water to help flush toilets and waterever else they need water for. Necko helped set that up and make all of that possible. I have seen him on many occasions come and fill multiple containers which he takes and helps his elderly neighbors with. Speaking to him and seeing his care and passion to help his neighbors in need moved me to want to share this with all of you.
Necko is a jack of all trades type of person he does everything from welding to landscaping and beyond. He even fabrcates and modifies vehicles.
As much as I can I will be keeping him on speed dial for things I need help with around here. Ive seen posts of his in which hes posted making himself available for work with different jobs for the community. My experience with Necko has made me want to highly reccomend him because of his character and care for those around him.
Look him up, send him a friend request he is a good person to have him your circle.

I have set up a water station in the first parking lot at RUFF Around The Edges, for the residents at twin rivers trailer park that are being affected right now.
There is a stack of buckets that have never been used, you are welcome to use them if you need them.
You don't need to come and ask you don't have to be shy, you don't have to let us know that you're using it. It's out there, it's ready to go, you're free to just pull your vehicle up or walk over and the orange hose is there so just use it. If you need cold water, there's some bushes Right there, that could probably use some water. So if you need to run it a minute, just water the little plants that are right there and then you'll get cold water.

Fancy Fancy!
A wonderful and amazing person donated this dog bed to us!
It is leather, it lays completly flat or you can lock it into couch position and also lock it into a arm or head rest position on the sides. It can be one large bed as shown or two beds that have the same functions each. I mean if this isnt fancy then I just dont know what is! We get donations of all types and we are thankful to everyone of the people who think of us.

Alot of work has been being done at RUFF Around The Edges, the front play park now is able to be opened up to become twice the size it originally was. Gates are now able to be opened and dogs can get access to a second play area giving lots of room to run. This gives us three large play parks along with our additional play yards that very in size depending on numbers of dogs. We're able to accommodate multiple play groups to keep like size dogs in with their own groups. And also, if we have dogs that can't play with other dogs, they still get their own play yard to play in. Our goal is to continue to build to make things bigger and better for the dogs that stay with us.
