🌟 Jake 🌟

This is, without a doubt, one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make.

After a lot of tears and thought, I’ve decided to offer Jake for sale. This is not a sale I ever wanted to make, but life circumstances require me to downsize. If I had any other choice, Jake wouldn’t be leaving.

Jake is approximately 14–15 years old and stands around 14 hands. He is truly the definition of safe, safe, safe. He has no buck, rear, bite, or dangerous habits, making him a wonderful partner for both kids and adults.

✨ About Jake

* Kid and beginner friendly
* Trusted lesson horse for children and adults for the past two years
* Walks and trots quietly with kids
* Lazy to pick up the canter, but canters safely and willingly
* Sweet, gentle personality that absolutely loves attention
* Easy keeper

✨ Riding

* Great on the trails
* Crosses water without hesitation
* Rides quietly down the road and isn’t bothered by traffic
* Very little spooks him—even cars don’t phase him
* Has been ridden inside Tractor Supply
* Previously drove buggies on the East Coast about 3–4 years ago

✨ Ground Manners

* Excellent for the farrier and veterinarian
* Picks up all four feet with ease
* Gets along with horses, goats, donkeys, chickens, kids, and other farm animals

✨ Health

* Has seasonal allergies.
* Also has an allergy to dog dander, so as long as dogs aren’t rubbing all over him, he’s perfectly happy.

Jake is not a speed event horse, but he would make a fantastic horse for trail riding, beginner riders, lessons, family riding, or even casual play days. While I haven’t taken him to gymkhanas myself, I believe he’d handle the atmosphere well because of his calm, steady temperament.

Jake has spent the last couple of years teaching riders, keeping kids safe, and being everyone’s favorite horse. He has the kindest heart and is the type of horse that’s getting harder and harder to find.

His home is far more important than the price. I am in no rush and will be selective. I want someone who will love him as much as we do.

If you believe you can give Jake the life he deserves, send me a message and tell me a little about yourself. I reserve the right to choose the home that I feel is the best fit for him.

If you could take a horse to school, who would you take?

Jake would really like an endorsement for mane and tail products! (Well, at least he thinks he does. 🤣)
