To be honest, I would not try to get Insta worthy pumpkin patch pictures with these guys. They are clearly photogenic as heck and you will feel as though your hairdo couldn’t possibly compare to their luxurious locks. Just get a pumpkin at Wegmans and save yourself the trouble.

I often get asked, “why huskies” because let’s face it, they are a lot. The hair, the noise, the energy, it’s a lot to bring in to a shop. But for me the answer has always been simple: Torque and his late brother Luca. These boys were my first set of huskies when I set up shop on the island all these years ago and they never failed to put a smile on my face. I fell in love with the breed just as surely as I fell in love with pitbulls over a decade earlier. And while my sweet boy Lu is gone, I still enjoy my time with Torque. My sassiest Mr. Magoo, with opinions that he never minds voicing; a grumpy old man spirit in dog form. It’s always going to be pitbulls… but it’s also always going to be huskies 🐺🩵

The time for your pup to develop a good relationship with their groomer is now. She has gone from incredibly nervous to comfortable through great training with her parents and consistent exposure with the grooming process. A pup who would lay flat in the tub now stands there while I play with her fur as we wait for her deshedding conditioner; And her parents got 5$ for recommending a friend! I am so proud of Miss Buffy and all of her progress 💚
