Tonya is deeply involved in Grand Haven's dog community, representing the dog loving citizens at city meetings whenever dog related matters

are on the agenda. She also has worked for three years to raise funds and assisted in planning the Grand Haven Dog Park!

Join us this summer for our group dog walks with Certified Trainer and Pack Rehab Specialist, Robert Crough!

There is no cost to join our walks. This walk begins at Must Love Dogs at 106 Washington, Grand Haven. We will walk the waterfront to Escanaba Park where we will take a water break, and then to the base of the pier, after which we will proceed back to Must Love Dogs! It is about a 2-mile walk. You may jump in at any point if your dog might not be able to do the entire walk.

If your dog is anxious, walk further away from the pack and work your way in at your own dog’s comfort level. NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES on our walks, and please remember to bring your own waste bags for responsible clean up after our dogs. A portable water source is a good idea as well!

Talco had a free eye exam because he’s a therapy dog.

We must be assertive about how we want things to happen. We can be polite and ask for what we want. But if we don’t ask, they will do things how they like.

For 13 years old, Talco’d eyes are pretty healthy. A little cloudy but no glaucoma.

Bicycle baskets!

The one on the left is for behind your seat. You have to have one of those little luggage racks over your back tire for this one to work. It is for larger dog than the front basket will hold.

The basket on the right comes in gray as shown and also pink. It holds dogs up to about 14 pounds. And easily fit on the front of your handlebars.

You must have a harness to hook them into their one of those baskets. They should never be by the collar.

Hurry in to get one for your dog while supplies last.
