SEPTEMBER 17th 2pm! REACTIVITY CLASS!

This 6-wk group class is designed for dogs who struggle with over-reactions towards other dogs, people, or environmental distractions. Our focus is on helping dogs develop emotional regulation skills by guiding owners through relationship-based strategies that build clarity, confidence, and communication.

Held at the Church of the Dunes at 717 Sheldon Rd, Grand Haven, MI 49417. Please use the parking lot behind the church and the back entrance to the Social Room.

Evening boat cruise (with no dogs 🤯) to celebrate our first summer training as a team and to send Violet off for senior year at Michigan Tech! Thank you vi for showing up every day with a smile, working harder than all the dogs, and changing lives one dog and owner at a time! 

I’m thrilled that Violet is going to continue to offer virtual sessions and admin support while at school, and will then be back to train full time next summer!

This 6-wk class is designed for adolescent puppies and adult dogs (ages 6 mos and up) to establish a common language between you and your dog. We will focus on building engagement, obedience skills (sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking), impulse control, and social skills.

POUND BUDDIES DOG OF THE DAY!

Meet Hattie! 💕🐾

At just 7 months old, Hattie has already come a long way. After spending the last month with a loving foster family, this sweet girl has completely transformed. 🥹❤️

We aren’t totally sure what mix Hattie is (although we have our suspicions 👀), but we are sure that she’s one adorable, goofy, energetic puppy! She is looking for an active family that can keep up with her puppy energy while helping her continue learning and growing.

Hattie may take a little time to settle in and feel comfortable in a new place, but once she does, get ready for the snuggles. 🥰 She absolutely loves being close to her people!

And she comes with some pretty great perks:

Hattie did miss out on some important socialization during those early puppy months, so she would LOVE a confident, well-socialized dog in her forever home who can help show her the ropes. 🐶❤️

Hattie is more than just a cute puppy. She’s a smart, loving girl who has already shown us just how much she can blossom when given time, patience, and a chance. 🥹

🐾 NEW CLASS ALERT: Downtown Distractions 🐾
Tourist season in downtown Grand Haven is busy — and that can be overwhelming for dogs! Join us for “Downtown Distractions,” an 8-week discounted community group training class designed to help local dogs and their humans confidently navigate crowded sidewalks, outdoor dining, noises, bikes, strollers, strangers, and more.

We’ll work on:
✔️ Focus around distractions
✔️ Loose-leash walking
✔️ Calm behavior in busy environments
✔️ Confidence & neutrality in public spaces
✔️ Real-life obedience skills

📍 Location: First block of Washington Ave., downtown Grand Haven
🗓 Wednesdays in June & July
