Argo got another great 5 mile pony in today through bass river. This was our first ride with another horse and she was not a fan of being followed. Found a few new things we need to work on. We also had to have a long talk about how we are not going to roll in the water when I am on her back. I had a not so graceful dismount off bugsy when he tried to roll in the sand but Argo waited so patiently for me to get up and back in the saddle. We have a bit more saddle work to do in the arena as far as responding to cues and forward movement then will be ready for out first ride out on the trails.

Jackson is getting better about the approach and taking food from my hands so we are working on adding some touching today. Thought my camera was rolling the entire time but apparently it shut off after the first minute and a half. So this is all the viewing I have for you all today. But look at that step forward😍 Now i'm off to clear some room in my storage😆

I do love it when I can fit in a 2fer...Argo has been coming along nicely with her riding, so weve graduated to a saddle. And after the last couple of weeks of argo doing wonderful ponying behind bugsy I decided that its time for ginger to learn how to tote another horse along. So today we got saddle time/ponying with Argo and Ginger learning to tolerate another horse behind and at her flank. Although poor Argo was getting her workout in trying to keep up with that TWH flat foot walk. The last picture shows you just how thrilled she was trotting to catch up😆
