Hello friends! Just wanted to let everyone know again that we operate out of our home and we both have full time jobs outside of this Rescue. PLEASE keep in mind that we also have a life out of this Rescue and if we agree on a time then PLEASE, PLEASE, Keep to that time. We can't just wait around for hours for you to show up. We have things we need to get done as well.

Yeah!! Meko finally is cleared for adoption ❤️❤️ this girl came to us with a lot and required multiple antibiotics and TLC. She will forever have a scar next to her eye and around her "butt" from surgery. She has gained nice weight and eats amazingly for us!

Okay... This one is rather hard for me...

Today we got a call from a pet store (will not be naming them) about this dragon. Soooo... about a month or so ago someone called them about this dragon they found in the middle of a dirt road in Battle Creek. The person has no idea how to care or even handle it so the store took it only if he posted and tried to find the owner... So a few days ago they got a call and said they found the owner but they wanted nothing to do with it... Hence why they RELEASED it outside to fend for itself ... 😶😶 Today they called me to see if we could take it in and treat it further and find it a new home. We of course said YES!

We think it's a male but not 100% and roughly 2-3 yrs old? Maybe lol. The store was treating and cleaning a mouth rot infection which looks Sooo much better than when they received him. He REALLY loves his veggies but is not a fan of bugs.

Don't mind his "attitude" he had a stressful day of travel, poking and prodding and medications. So understandably... You get what these pictures portray and frankly I would be a very angry dragon too if I was let outside to fend for myself for who knows how long!

This gal came to us today with a sad story.

She is said to be a 10+yr old normal female that was kept in a basement with nothing but a small stick and a very small water dish in a 40 gallon tank. The tank smelled horrible from poor husbandry.
She was taken in by an amazing lady who cleaned her up and fed her some much needed food who contacted us to find this very gentle lady a new forever home!
This beautiful lady will be in quarantine for a few weeks then we will actively try to place her in a new forever home.

We also need NAME SUGGESTIONS ❤️❤️
