We need your help! Our dog food shelves are starting to look a little empty, so we are in urgent need of dog food donations. 🐾We don't have any brand preference, but we ask that meat is the first ingredient listed.

Donations can be dropped off at our shelter at 4375 N. Washington St., Tuesday-Friday: 8am-5pm or Saturday-Sunday: 10am-5pm. Your generosity ensures that we can continue providing essential care and supplies to our furry friends in need.

𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐔𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐃𝐨𝐦 🐾

Dom has been in and out of our shelter since January. We think Dom’s biggest issue is that nobody has quite figured out how to help him grow into the dog we know he can be.

He’s big. He’s goofy. He’s enthusiastic. He knows some commands. He loves people. He’s been around children and other dogs and has done wonderfully. But he is also still learning how to be a DOG. Dom needs structure, consistency, patience, and someone who is willing to teach him instead of expecting him to already know everything.

Dom isn't a bad dog. He isn't a difficult dog. He's just a BIG dog who still has a lot to learn. We've been looking for adopters who can provide the training and consistency he needs, but we're not sure if that person's in our area.

- Maybe you know a trainer who could help.
- Maybe you know a German Shepherd rescue that would be able to help him more than we can.
- Maybe you know a foster family who could give him a break from shelter life.
- Maybe you know someone who has experience with big, goofy, energetic dogs.

We want to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the Grand Forks Corgi Benefit Bash last night! 🐾 It was SUCH a fun night, and we had so much fun watching all the contests and, of course, the Corgi races.

Circle of Friends Animal Shelter is closing early today at 1pm to attend the Grand Forks Corgi Benefit Bash from 3pm-7pm at Lincoln Park!🐾

The event will feature corgi races, a talent show, and a costume contest, along with coloring contests, face painting, food trucks, vendor booths, and raffle prizes - all benefiting Journey Home Animal Rescue and Circle of Friends Animal Shelter! 🧡🐶 Bring your friends, family, and of course, your dogs for a paw-some night out!

We wanted to give a shoutout and a BIG thank you to the staff and residents at Valley Senior Living-Tufte Manor! 🐾

They did a two-week donation drive and collected all of these items for our homeless pets in need. We (and our pets) appreciate you all ❤️

We currently have two guinea pigs and two rabbits looking for their forever homes!

These two sweet girls are 6 months old and a bonded pair, so they're looking for a home together! They can be a little on the skittish side right now, but with patience, gentle handling, and plenty of socialization, they have the potential to become much more confident little companions. 🥹

🥕 Our Rabbits
Our two handsome boys are 1 year old, and they're total sweethearts! They're social, friendly, and absolutely LOVE snacking right out of your palm. 😂🐰

Small animals may be small, but they have BIG personalities and deserve loving homes just as much as our cats and dogs!
