I think my Belgium “HERDER” is broken 🤣. The horses got out and I tried to used Gremlin to bring them back in🤣. I thought Malinois are suppose to be herding dogs? Gremlin herding genetics are lacking!

Go-home lesson with Cash! 💰

Sicaria update!

She’s out there doing exactly what she was bred and trained to do. And that’s help keep communities safe by locating illegal narcotics and sometimes a fi****ms just happen to be in same place as the narcotics.

Sicaria was produced and trained from the ground up here at Tyger K9 and it’s such a good feeling to see my dog making a real world impact.

This is what I call a halfway lesson.

At the midpoint of every board and train program, I bring the owners in to begin working with their dog. This gives them the opportunity to learn how to properly handle their dog, use the training tools, and understand the commands exactly as they’ve been taught.

And by starting the learning process early, my clients gain confidence, their timing improves, and the transition home is much smoother. That way, when graduation day comes, both the dog and the owner are set up for long-term success.

What a Double Whammy! I get to watch a movie and train a dog at the same time!

Ripp is being training as a service dog. And all service dogs must be well behave dogs everywhere they go. So exposing him multiple times to real-world distractions while continuing to train in those environments helps him generalize his training. Teaching him that the same expectations apply no matter where he is, whether it’s at home, in a store, or at the movie theater.

When teaching dogs different behaviors/commands it’s a must that you generalize those behaviors/commands. And that simply means to train in different areas, different environments, around distractions and around different people.

And that’s exactly what I’m doing with Mr. Sleven in the video.
