Sebastian has taken 27 naps, explored the yard several times, visited with my dad, played with some toys for about two minutes, escorted me to the bathroom a few times and just finished dinner and back in his napping chair. I’d say that’s a full, productive day.

Stay tuned for Sebastian’s Master Class on chair sitting soon. 📚

This is Sebastian’s second home. ❤️ He has his favorite spots, he chills with the rest of the dogs and he is comfy and pampered.

There’s no cold kennels, no loud barking, no unfamiliar people. He is free to relax on any of the furniture. He goes on walks, watches the cows, plays with my dogs, gets brushed out daily so he stays tangle free.

And he’s fed his special diet which requires multiple, refrigerated ingredients and I’m happy to do it. This is the environment I would want MY dogs to be in if I’m away. 🏡

He’s home! Finn wants to thank everyone who cares about him, he’s feeling incredible. He even got a new glow in the dark ball for being a good boy. 🙂

His treatment plan is changing a bit to include BP meds and more frequent number monitoring but he’s back to his regular, goofy self. 💙

Update on Finn courtesy of his home healthcare nurse, Tanner:

“His chronic kidney disease has progressed some. He is now showing mild anemia and his heart murmur has increased from a 1/6 to a 3/6 at the moment. He’s getting iv fluid therapy tonight to see if we can correct some of these numbers and will start a new medication for elevated blood pressure. We’re still waiting on a couple more tests to come back that will give us more insight into the true progression of the disease, but as of now, Finn is stable and doing well. He’s still trying to pull my arm off while on leash and had no problem bugging me to cover him up.”

Finn spent the night with Tan last night and she said he ate breakfast enthusiastically this morning. I’ll pick him up from Animal Hospital of Mobile later today and looking forward to seeing a more energetic kid than yesterday. 💙
