We were so fortunate to welcome David Wilbur to Metro Stables this weekend for an incredible clinic filled with thoughtful instruction and valuable takeaways. Riders worked through extension and collection, bending lines, and the details that help create a more balanced and effective ride.

One of the highlights was a great discussion with David on “The Judges’ Perspective,” giving riders an inside look at what judges are watching for and how small details can make a meaningful difference in the show ring.

David’s knowledge comes from a lifetime dedicated to horses and horsemanship, from riding as a junior to training in Germany and working alongside some of the industry’s most accomplished horsemen. Most recently, David and Four Aces won the $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby during WCHR Week at HITS Ocala, adding another exciting accomplishment to an already impressive career.

Thank you, David, for an amazing clinic and a day full of lessons we will carry with us into the ring!

This was a week that we will never forget 🤩
The Loree sisters took on Pony Finals and we couldn’t be more proud of their efforts both in the ring and out!

🌟 Addie Loree and Stonewall Bright Light had outstanding rides in the Small Ponies! They came in 20th in the Small Pony Model, 28th in the Small Ponies Over Fences, had a great trip in the Pony Medal Finals, and ended up 30th overall out of 117 ponies!

🌟 Merin Loree and Cherrybrook Silhouette also put in incredible efforts in the Large Ponies! This pair rode to 60th in the Large Ponies Over Fences, put in a great ride in their Pony Medal Finals round, and ended up 58th overall out of 148 ponies!
