Madeline Fisher had a fantastic outing at HITS Ocala this winter. Competing at this level for the first time, she began the circuit in the Pre-Children’s division and worked her way up to the 2’9” by the end, culminating her experience with a 🥇in the Children’s Medal! Maddie also stepped into the jumper ring with a new mount, gaining valuable experience and showing great versatility. Her dedication and hard work throughout the circuit proved that consistency and effort truly pay off in this sport. Keep up the great work, Maddie! 💪🏼🐎✨

Admittedly, it feels a little strange to list my son’s accomplishments, so I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. I couldn’t be prouder of the little equestrian Isaac is becoming; such fun to be a part of his journey! Thank you to all of the people who get Isaac to the ring, especially who always holds him to task. And of course, huge gratitude to for giving Isaac such a strong foundation and for offering so much support.

Megan Xu made quite an impact at HITS Ocala this season! On her lease horse ⭐️Kaskadeur, Megan was CHAMPION twice in the 3’3” Small Junior Hunter division, and regularly in the top 10 in the Classic. On Maddie Mushok’s ⭐️Acalix Hero Z, Megan scored multiple wins in the equitation, including 3 X winner of the THIS, 2 X winner NHS and IHSA Hunter Seat Medal and a win also in the Junior Jumper Seat Medal. Megan and “Hero” were also 🥈 TWICE in the JR National Hunter Derby! On ⭐️Winslow’s Homer, Megan began her journey into the jumpers, starting at the 1.0 and quickly moving right into the 1.10. She ended up top 5 in most classes, culminating with a top 10 finish in the 1.15 classic in the GP Ring!💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼. Though these placings are rewarding, what makes Megan special lies in her calm, poised but diligent work in the tack. She has a lovely way with her horses and they clearly enjoy working for her. Working with Megan is a pleasure and I am excited to watch her continue to grow as an equestrian! 🤩🤩

I knew Esther would learn to jump during her time in Florida, but what I didn’t know was that she would end up cross rail champion! Go Esther! This kid has a bright future in this sport!

Happiest of Birthdays to this extremely hard working little lady! Kennedy has grit, determination and is driven. Though she is quite new to the sport, it is clear that Kennedy will become an accomplished equestrian. In Ocala this season, she has already moved from cross-rails to 2’ to 2’3” in the Hunter and equitation divisions. She even earned her first 🥇WIN in the 2’3” equitation last week. I am so excited to see what the future holds for this rider!

So great to have back in the ring after a nearly 6 month hiatus! Grace and Congenius competed in the adult hunters earning top scores of 81 and 83, and in the USHJA JR/AM National Hunter Derby winning 10th place out of 39 competitors. Nice to see that she could pick right up where she left of, as if no time had lapsed. Thank you for the ride on this incredible young horse. What a fun week we had together!
