Today I attended a clinic with esteemed clinicians Stuart Muir and Carlos Carvajal from Rood and Riddle Equine Podiatry on the topic of Modern Materials and Pathological Shoeing. The clinic offered an unparalleled opportunity to learn from their extensive expertise and remarkable accomplishments in the field. Stuart Muir, a renowned equine podiatrist, has successfully treated numerous horses with complex hoof pathologies, earning him a reputation as a leading authority in the industry. Carlos Carvajal, a highly respected clinician, has made significant contributions to the field of equine podiatry, particularly in the use of modern materials such as composite shoes and glue-on shoes to address various hoof issues. This amazing opportunity provided invaluable insights into their innovative techniques and approaches to pathological shoeing, benefiting both horses and practitioners alike.
